It’s obvious that the Florida loss is what is holding Texas back.
But clearly anyone saying this didn’t watch that game and is only looking at Florida’s record.
Watch the game and tell me Florida doesn’t look like a top 15-20 team.
Did Texas play bad? Absolutely.
Did that Florida team play their best game all season and looked like a potential force in the SEC? Absolutely.

Notre Dame shouldn’t be in the playoff for the same reason Texas shouldn’t be in. there’s too many other teams with better resumes, even if we can see both rosters are top 12 in talent
Notre Dame should be ranked behind Miami, BYU (11-1!!), Oklahoma, and Alabama - unless any lose today. that would leave them at #12, on the outside, due to conf champions taking #11 and #12

Not sure why Texas fans are arguing with people about playoff resumes. Texas either goes 4-0 to close out the season or they don’t.
If they do, they probably beat 3 Top 10 teams and make the playoff. If they don’t, they don’t make the playoff.
Pretty simple.

This is a great example of someone who clearly doesn’t know the context of a situation and just says shit based on numbers. The 2010s for Texas was the worst decade of Texas football in modern history. Their best teams in the last 15 years were these last two years.
How can you watch football and not say clearly SEC is the best conference in terms of overall competition?

Texas won the Big 12 once since 2010.
Texas joins the SEC and has the BEST record in the conference after a year and a half.
And we’re suppose to believe the SEC is some gauntlet? 🤔

“TUSH PUSH” vs #Vikings 1. Watch #11 AJ Brown. He flinches twice on both hard counts. 2. Both guards move right before the ball is snapped. The slow motion shows it. Don’t outlaw it. Allow refs to be able to review the spot & pre-snap on a tush push to identify if it’s legal.

It’s time we had a conversation about the replay center in the ears of refs to call penalties that aren’t reviewable. No way the refs “convened” about that illegal motion without someone in their ear telling them to do it.
