🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷🇮🇱 The Wall Street Journal just dropped a bombshell report on the inside story of the Iran war... The key revelations: Trump used to call the Middle East "blood and sand" and wanted nothing to do with it. Then Netanyahu gave him a "persuasive February briefing" in the Situation Room, backed by repeated calls from Lindsey Graham, and Trump changed his mind. He thought it would be as easy as Venezuela. Trump was "in awe" of the scale of the bombs, watching clips of explosions every morning. But he did "little to sell the American public on the war" and grew frustrated when he didn't get praised for it. His own team showed him midterm polling that proved the war was dragging down Republican candidates. He "quickly began ruminating on how the military action could turn into a catastrophe." On the Strait: Trump told his team before the war that Iran would "likely capitulate before closing the strait." His advisers were "caught off guard" that tanker traffic stopped so quickly. Trump later "marveled at the ease with which the strait was closed," saying "a guy with a drone can shut it down." By late March, before the F-15 was even shot down, Trump ordered his team to find a way to start talks. The war was already over in his mind weeks before the ceasefire. His aides begged him to stop doing impromptu interviews because he was contradicting himself publicly. He agreed to stop, then went right back to calling reporters. The April 1 address to the nation was Susie Wiles' idea to "reassure the country Trump had a plan." Trump didn't want to do it because, in his own words, he couldn't declare victory and didn't know where it was going. This report paints a picture of a president who was talked into a war by Netanyahu and Graham, realized it was a mistake within weeks, spent the rest of the conflict looking for the exit, and was frustrated that nobody would give him credit along the way. The war was an impulse, sold by an ally with different objectives, enabled by advisers who couldn't say no, and sustained by a president who was too proud to admit the mistake until the economy forced his hand.

🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸 "Open the Fuckin' Strait, you crazy bastards" to "A whole civilization will die tonight"... the real story behind Trump's two most shocking posts The WSJ's inside account finally reveals what was happening when Trump sent the posts that stunned the world. Six hours before the Easter morning Hormuz post, at 2 AM, he'd received word that the second F-15 airman had been rescued from Iran after a 24-hour operation that could have turned into the lowest point of his presidency. Trump wasn't even in the Situation Room during the rescue. Aides deliberately kept him out because they believed his impatience would hurt the operation. He got updates by phone. He finally went to bed after 2 AM. Six hours later, he was back at it. "Open the Fuckin' Strait, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in Hell." With "Praise be to Allah" added on Easter morning. Republican senators and Christian leaders flooded the White House with calls. Why the F-word? Why an Islamic prayer on Easter? An adviser asked him about it. Trump said the Allah idea was his own. He wanted to sound "as unstable and insulting as possible" because he thought it would bring Iran to the table. The language, he said, the Iranians would understand. Then he asked aides: "How's it playing?" Three days later came the civilization-ending post. Also improvisational. Also not part of any national security plan. Rubio privately told others the language might actually work. Ninety minutes before the deadline, Trump announced the ceasefire. The madman theory of diplomacy, running live on Truth Social. Chaos as strategy. Profanity as policy. And somehow, 10 days later, the war is closer to ending than anyone thought possible... Source: WSJ

@FutbolKicks @MarioNawfal It's US who was behind 2014 events, later CIA bases on Ukraine and so on, so definitely not Europe's war. But Iran is not US war for sure, it is zionists war, but US fight harder than it was in the US land

🇺🇦 The Iran war is draining Ukraine's last line of defense... The U.S. burned through more Patriot missiles in the first four days of the Iran war than it supplied to Ukraine in four years of fighting Russia. Zelensky put it plainly: "The situation couldn't be any worse." Ukraine is now turning to Germany to fill the gap. A $3.7 billion PAC-2 deal just signed, German-funded, built at a new Raytheon facility in Schrobenhausen. The only problem is deliveries don't begin until 2028. Latvia's military and Estonia's public Broadcaster ERR reports that drones entered Estonian and Latvian airspace in the early hours of the morning, with one hitting a chimney of the Auvere Power Plant in northeastern Estonia. This was likely a Ukrainian long-range drone, as Ukraine was attacking Russia's Baltic Sea ports at exactly the same time, with the drones taking a route near or through Estonian and Latvian airspace. A similar incident occurred yesterday when Ukraine was also attacking Russia's Baltic Sea ports. Interestingly, this time, Russian radars did not detect all of the drones flying to Leningrad Oblast after they left Bryansk Oblast, which could suggest that some of the drones which attacked Russia later on in the night were using Estonian and Latvian Airspace.

@DariusDale42 How does this play out in: A) Higher productivity leading to elevated corporate earnings, stock prices, and potential inflation. B: Simultaneously driving efficiencies that slash production costs, creating deflationary forces. How do you see them coexist without a prolonged shock

I spoke with President Trump briefly this morning, BEFORE the announcement about US casualties - so he did not comment on that. But some notes: He says the US knows how many targets are left -- and re: progress toward Iranian people taking control of their destiny: “It’s moving along. It's moving along rapidly. This has been this way for 47 years," he said. "It's moving along rapidly. Nobody can believe the success we're having, 48 leaders are gone in one shot. And it's moving along rapidly.” On concern about oil prices / impacts to Strait of Hormuz: POTUS: “I'm not concerned about anything, Jacqui. I just do what's right. At the end, it works out.” * he cited good outcomes from Venezuela, operations, attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities with B2 bombers: POTUS: “If we didn't do that, they would have had a nuclear weapon within two weeks. And then all of this would not have been possible.”

Here is the moment when 🇵🇱Polish Foreign Minister @sikorskiradek reminded 🇺🇲America, 🇬🇧UK and 🇫🇷France that they guaranteed 🇺🇦Ukrainian security and borders in 1994 🔥 👏 Sikorski: "As you know, russia, the USA, and Great Britain guaranteed the security of Ukraine and its borders. In exchange for Ukraine giving up what was then the third largest arsenal of nuclear weapons in the world. So you have an obligation to Ukraine to help them defend their freedom."

No, it's not a bubble in tech stocks. We are less than 1 standard deviation from the trend. You can see what a bubble looks like in the late 1990's when we exploded out of the decade long log regression channel to be multiple SD's from trend. Nothing to see, move on... 1/

I think the entire DAT thing is going to come down to who has a bear market strategy to mitigate severe discount to mNAV and who doesn't. Those that don't will have forced liquidations. Those that have the right bear market strategy that allow for future compounding of NAV will survive and then thrive and should experience higher valuations.

The Trump admin told us they were looking to acquire Bitcoin with a "budget neutral" strategy. Well, they may have just found one: Engineer a short squeeze on gold, revalue the gold holdings at the peak, and buy BTC. 70% of the world's gold is refined in Switzerland. So what happens when you slap Swiss exports with 39% tariffs, including the gold bars that New York-based Comex accepts for deliveries? Suddenly the gold shorters in the United States have a much harder time sourcing gold to cover their positions. Which means they need to buy existing spot or futures, driving the price higher. An aggressive short squeeze could force gold towards $6,000 an ounce. Which would allow the US to revalue its holdings to ~$1.5 Trillion, which would then be deposited into the US Treasury's account. What could they buy with that $1.5 Trillion? A ton of Bitcoin. Are the strange 39% tariffs on Switzerland (nearly the highest in the world) a tactic to force a gold short squeeze so they can revalue their holdings and acquire a dominant BTC position? Let's see 🍿
