The mystery of a 40-ton bridge suddenly being stolen overnight!
Local police said this was the largest theft they had ever encountered in their careers. The 17-meter-long bridge was built in 2000.
Police said that after investigation, it was discovered on November 3, 2021, that the bridge deck on the bridge had disappeared, leaving only the steel frame structure. And by November 11, the entire structure had vanished.

In 2011, a 40-ton bridge in Pennsylvania, USA, was stolen, and metal was found cut from the bridge piers. In 2012, a thief in the Czech Republic stole a 10-ton steel pedestrian bridge and used a crane to dismantle bridge parts and railway tracks. In an inaccessible area of Russia, a thief stole a long section of a steel bridge, leaving only the bridge piers. In 2020, theft of concrete road surfaces and bridges also occurred in Dandong, Jiangsu, China, with the thieves even hiring people to transport the concrete road surface 18 times...
