So I build machines for a living. (Video attached) Simple to complex machines and robotics for clients who need a bespoke solution that doesn't exist. Custom automation to fit their needs. It was my career that turned me away from being Atheist. I wanted to be Atheist at one point. I tried. But my career wouldn't allow my brain to accept it. Why? Because I realized our own body is an organic machine. Light years more complex than the machines I build, but the same systems. We have a processor and sensors that can hear like microphones, see like cameras, feel like pressure transducers, taste like PH probes, and smell like chemical analyzers. We have a hydraulic system that pumps blood at a constant pressure. We have air transport devices. We have 2 seperate waste management systems and an extremely complex cascading PID system to balance all sorts of chemical processes. We have a preventive maintenance system that regenerates and rejuvenates the other systems. And all of this is packaged on a perfect structural frame to allow us to move with ease.... AND thr most vital of the systems we have, come in twos for a redundant backup. We are a machine. And just like my machines have an engineer, so do we. You'll never convince me otherwise. Now, when it comes to faith, we can be on all sorts of sides. I have faith that Christ was who he said he is. That he was who the deciples said he was. That is what I believe... But what I KNOW, is that we have a creator and we are of superior mechanical design by a master creator. Period.

What is up with heup and qb's? He can get the most out of them, but he has yet to recruit one. Our best qbs in the last five years- hooked and aguilar- fell into his lap. Milton was a former 5 star, bad. Nico 5 star, bad. Merklinger 4 star, couldn't cut it. Now macintyre who was a 5 star until the end of the recruiting cycle. Is this concerning or na?

The AI labor replacement theory makes absolutely no sense to me Here is the simple math Let’s say an engineer making $300K/yr was generating $500K in P&L output for me. Now I arm that engineer with $20K in input to make him 20% more productive My total engineering cost goes to $320K/yr but the output is now $600K (+20%) Because of AI, my ROI on hiring engineers just went up massively. As a CEO, that should make me want to hire more engineers, not less What am I missing here? Genuinely curious about people’s thoughts

I am so fascinated by the "who are you wearing" people. They honestly think the clothes on your back make you. My entire wardrobe is Walmart, thrift store, and a few decent TJ Maxx and Burlington Coat Factory purchases. If I own it, it was cheap or on sale.
