Maalik Bin Dinar رحمه الله said:
“The greatest punishment a slave (of Allāh) can get is hardheartedness.”

Shaykh Bin Bāz رحمه الله said: "Indeed, it has been confirmed that the Prophet ﷺ would fast the day of 'Āshūrā, and he would encourage people to fast it because it was the day that Allāh rescued Musā and his people, and it was the day that Allāh destroyed Fir'aun.
The supplication of one of the salaf that was single:
Ibn Hussain رحمه الله used to make dua and say:
"Oh Allah grant me a woman the brings me joy when I look at her, that if I inform her to do something she obeys/listens and one that protects me (my honour) in my absence.”
