Hmm! While scrolling #youtube, if a user stops at a particular video/post, then all of a sudden, in a very clever & "deceptive" manner, an ad tends to appear (or it gets displayed). Is that ethically allowed?! Imo, it's a counter-productive & an unethical way to generate revenue

@TeamYouTube I tried uninstalling the recent updates, then the navbar was visible but no content at all on the page; it asked me to update for the content to load, but the moment I do that the same problem persists!

Hello @YouTube! As noted today, 03rd Jun'25, the navbar in the app isn't showing despite trying: clearing the app's cache, uninstalling/reinstalling the app, checking updates, & even restarting the device! Expecting a resolution, thanks!

@BrandonButch Yes, truly wonderful! I'm always intrigued by the way @Apple applies their creative thinking & comes up with endearing features &/or products. Long back, I saw their landing page for #macbookair that had a macbook video being controlled up on scroll. It was so subtle!

Obviously ad blockers stop ads from loading in the first place but this is great because: 1. You can hide elements that aren't technically "ads" so it's more versatile (sign in prompts, cookie banners, newsletter forms, etc) 2. It's built in natively to iOS/macOS now. You don't have to download a 3rd party app 3. Safari remembers what you blocked, so it'll stay hidden for future visits to that site
