Tokenization's strongest case is post-trade. WFE says existing exchange trading infrastructure is already highly efficient. The bigger opportunity sits after the trade, where market participants still coordinate records, collateral, lifecycle events, and settlement across multiple systems. That is where financial markets still carry a lot of operational weight. - multiple parties keep separate records - collateral has to move predictably across institutions - corporate actions and margin calls depend on rules and timing - settlement needs governance, oversight, and finality Tokenization helps when it reduces that coordination burden. It is weaker when it only creates a wrapper while the real workflow stays offchain. Native issuance is the fix. If the asset is issued and managed natively onchain, the workflow changes. The asset record, transfer rules, eligibility checks, privacy controls, and settlement process can live in the same onchain environment. Post-trade stops being a separate reconciliation problem. It becomes part of how the transaction executes. Dusk's native-issuance thesis is moving the full financial lifecycle onchain, with privacy and compliance inside the workflow itself.

Most privacy projects protect P2P payments. Hedger, and to a larger extend Dusk itself, is about protecting market structure. Encrypted balances, confidential transfers, obfuscated order books and auditability for regulated finance. That is what makes $DUSK different.

Boreas Protocol Upgrade (Rusk v1.7.0) is coming to Dusk testnet. The upgrade strengthens network resilience, resource accounting, client compatibility, and DuskEVM readiness, with Rusk Wallet v0.4.0 also part of the rollout. ⏰ Activation: May 12, around 10:00 UTC.

The tokenization market is still far from native onchain capital markets. @Neotamandua, from @DuskFoundation: 🔹 Most assets are still tokenized access, not natively issued securities @deankd_, from @RWA_xyz: 🔸 One large bank deal can be bigger than entire tokenization market
