At yesterday's @ACOSS Post-Budget event: tax reform in this Budget is a step forward, but the benefits flow to people paying income tax. That has a real impact on telco consumers.  The changes to the NDIS will also have an impact on those living with disability who rely on connectivity to access government services, work and community. Leaving them out deepens digital exclusion.

Some Australians spend 10%+ of their income on connectivity. The benchmark is 2%. They go without other essentials to cover it. @SenSHenderson and Carol Bennett aligned on this point in the Senate hearing on UOMO: mandatory domestic roaming is a no-brainer.

In the @australian, @NBN_Australia plans to shut down copper infrastructure and upgrade up to 3 million customers to full fibre by 2028. Full fibre is the right call.
