This woman, Barr. Amanda Pam is far more rooted in FCT politics over the years than Aisha Yesufu. She knows her way around FCT voters. Go and read her profile or CV.
While I support Aisha Yesufu's ambition and the Obidient sensation also backs her drive, it is important to state that Amanda Pam may win Aisha in a direct primaries; not for anything else but because of the fact that Amanda Pam came early into the party and has established party structures in FCT as well as facilitated reasonable membership registration.
The fact that we like Aisha Yesufu doesn't mean we should cast aspersions on other Aspirants who don't fall within our emotional orbit. You don't even know the capacity of this woman but you want to crucify her for vying for the same ticket with your celebrity.
A young party like the NDC cannot survive this individualistic approach most of you are promoting. It's either you support the party or you go elsewhere.
By Thursday or Friday, we would know who has been given a ticket or not.

The South is beginning to irritate me with the entitlement we are seeing from our leaders from that zone . This is exactly what I was singing to these leaders at the beginning of the coalition that all of them should go back to their zones to mobilize to ADC.
Imagine if Rotimi Amaechi had mobilized 20% of southerners of voting age to the ADC while the window was opened , will he be complaining of the untenable excuses he is giving today ?
When Atiku was mobilizing and having sleepless nights attending meetings and making calls nationwide to bring people into ADC, would you expect those who came to the party on the back and shoulder of Atiku to vote for Amaechi or Hayatudeen ?
Please , people should always take any and every assignment giving to them very seriously cuz it might come to hunt or favor you .
ADC primaries as witnessed nationwide was the most organized, peaceful and devoid of rancor party primaries have ever seen in the last 10yrs . How they got it so organized and peaceful nationwide remains a mystery to me and other Nigerians

I had initially stated that I will only accept the outcome of the Primaries if the process was free, fair, and transparent, and I stand by my word. I will not accept results from a process that does not reflect the values that the ADC had pledged to uphold, to rescue Nigerians from the impunity and gross mismanagement that our country is currently facing in the hands of the ruling party. There’s no way that about eighty percent of members of the party were not allowed to vote, and you expect me to accept such results. Then what makes us different from the others? The whole idea of the ADC was to give the Nigerian people a platform, to amplify the voices of the downtrodden, and make Nigeria a better place for everyone irrespective of backgrounds, ethnicity, or religion. A party that criticizes the ruling APC and INEC for vote buying, rigging and writing of results, cannot be engaged in vote buying, writing of results, and other electoral malpractices that leads to the disenfranchisement of voters who are party members. Mohammed Hayatu-Deen: The Politician With Elite Politics, By Adnan Mukhtar
Mohammed Hayatu-Deen undoubtedly has ideas and solutions for moving this country forward, judging from his campaign videos and engagements. However, his style of politics appears largely elitist. For someone aspiring to become President, especially under a system that requires direct primaries, he should have focused more on building structures at the grassroots level.
Atiku Abubakar, as a former Vice President, already has structures in almost every ward across the country. Even Rotimi Amaechi, as a former governor and minister, still maintains some political visibility and grassroots presence. Comparing Hayatu-Deen’s structure with Atiku’s is simply unrealistic.
It appears Hayatu-Deen was misled into believing that social media campaigns alone could deliver victory, forgetting that all politics is local. Building political strength requires engagement at ward and local government levels, not just holding meetings at places like Transcorp Hilton and announcing coordination meetings online.
In my state, Kano, even among ADC stalwarts, many people barely had contact with Hayatu-Deen, talk less of ordinary grassroots supporters.
So, hearing that Hayatu-Deen withdrew from the presidential primaries sounds unsurprising. Some of my political associates at the coalition centre during the primaries never even encountered any of his coordinators before the withdrawal.
As a party member, I hardly saw anyone actively working for his victory, unlike the visible presence of Rotimi Amaechi’s supporters across several local governments in Kano State.
Politics is not about making noise on social media alone; it requires active grassroots mobilization and engagement.
Peter Obi and Kwankwaso understand this reality, which is why they left the ADC. There was practically no way they could defeat Waziri Atiku Abubakar in a truly competitive primary election.
