Had a nasty crash on my road bike trigger by a white van side sweeping me. In true cycling manner I tried to walk away, but soon was in A&E, busted up and in a mess. This cheered me up! 😂
@adamraffe We trust our conductors to assess the capacity and encourage passengers to utilise space as best as possible. If declassification fits the circumstances, the conductor will do so at his/her discretion. I'm sorry you feel that that this was misjudged on this occasion.
@LNRailway if you’re going to only provide 8 carriages on the 07:41 from Leighton Buzzard, why can’t you de-classify 1st class? The train is absolutely rammed and it’s a real slap in the face - there is a pregnant lady standing outside 1st class when there are seats free!
@Wilde_IT@PTHospice@Microsoft Nice one! It was great riding through London on closed roads, although I found it a bit scary at times with so many riders all vying for the same bit of road 😕
@stevenpturner I was there a couple of weeks back - took the Virgin non stop flight, flying out from LHR on Sunday night at 10pm. I prefer a non stop flight over a connection any day.
@knight_joel I had it for 17 years, so I had a good run :-) It was a tough decision but I felt like I needed to move on. In my role now (which happens to be the same as yours!) there are so many other things to focus on.
@knight_joel Interesting post! I had exactly the same dilemna - the effort involved in recertifying my network certs meant I couldn't dedicate as much time to learning things relevant to my new role. In the end I chose the opposite path to you - my CCIE lapsed completely in Feb :-/
