Just to be clear, you are defending a Heil Hitler salute that was performed and repeated for emphasis and clarity.
People can officially stop listening to you as any sort of reputable source of information now. You work for them. Thank you for making that crystal clear to all.

This is a delicate moment. It’s a new day and yet so many are on edge. Our politics are inflamed, and social media only adds to the anxiety. It seems that @elonmusk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge. In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath. This is a new beginning. Let’s hope for healing and work toward unity in the months and years ahead.

Earlier this month, I gave a talk at the Digital Gestalten meetup. I explained why I started All About Berlin and how I run the website. I turned that talk into a blog post: nicolasbouliane.com/projects/all-a…

@rahulj51 @germany_iam I know a few more people in Berlin who got the citizenship within 3-4 months of applying.

In Berlin, it looks like it depends a lot on your personal situation. If you are an EU citizen or spouse of German citizen or finished college here, the wait time is much less (couple of months) compared to those who, like me, migrated for work from outside the EU (couple of years). That said, there are some notable exceptions like @adithya_srini who got theirs in record time.

@adithya_srini @mgill25 Nanbane, we need to meet as well. Are you’re still in Friedenau?

Ended up meeting @adithya_srini today and had a super nice conversation.
He really isn’t kidding about his food enthusiasm, knows more food joints in Prenzj than I and I actually live here.

Berliners, I want you to know about this guy. There's no escaping from German bureaucracy, but @adithya_srini makes it easier to navigate through it.
He's been stacking up no-bs guides on residency permits, health, tax, jobs, travel, etc.

@aboutberlin @Anuj2394 I remember just showing up at Steglitz without an appointment and could do it!
English

@Anuj2394 According to @adithya_srini, no. You need a second appointment (at the Bürgeramt) to activate it. This could be different from Bürgeramt to Bürgeramt.

@BenWernerKnight Waiting 5 years for an application to be processed is definitely a nightmare scenario. I recently applied & hopefully it's not going to be a long one...

'German bureaucracy is not German at all' - I talked to a few immigrants who have become disillusioned with the country from trying to become German.
