⁉️ 99% of Chelsea fans might've forgotten, but the 1% who still remember are LEGENDS! 🔥
Who's this guy? 🤔 #CFC

@DedeUmuahia_1 @asemota That's not everyone's experience. Don't make a blanket statement!

The same parents that will beat us black and blue, put pepper in our genitals for stealing 1 naira coin or some scoops of milo and milk are the ones telling us that as far as we didn't spill blood but used pen to sign-off the money or just by taking the risk and joining the ashes businesses and making it big, they're okay with and we're good.
Major character flaw

I grew up in a Nigeria, where stealing meat from a pot of soup as a kid or even as an adult domestic employee was one of the greatest crimes. You could get ostracized for it. We saw stealing as a deep character flaw. Now, people think being a criminal and thief is "being smart."

My estate neighbour a landlord sold his house, his cars, his properties to relocate to Canada two years ago
He was actually doing well in Nigeria and woke up one morning and decided to start pursuing Japa.
He was there in Canada for more than two months without a single job, he was just sleeping in one of his old friend's living room and was there for barely 4 months.
Anytime I reach out to him via WhatsApp, he will complain and say "big Jeff, this stuff is not what we think ooo life here is actually very difficult".
I felt terribly bad about his sudden decision. You mean, you left your own mansion to become a puppet in another man's land?
You weren't even jobless, you are a business that's fetching you 400k to 500k at the end of the month. You have your own house, cars and living very well and in a well secured estate.
This can never make sense to me no matter how Una try to make it make sense.
Now, I heard Canada economy is in heavy recession and things are difficult right now.
I don't even know how my guy is coping right now.
You see why some of us are here putting fire on these old politicians that have refused to let Nigeria work.
Person like me can't even spend 2 months out of this country. I go just the sick anyhow. I can't trade my dear country to any country in the world regardless.

@Isaacsogo @Shughar_rush This!!!
I had a similar experience, We had to escape at the back of a armed police Hilux😭😭. I lost my cap in transit, I couldn't even think about it, safety was the only thing on my mind.
Luckily, nothing was manipulated. Left INEC office 4am, the next morning.

I wrote this yesterday and deleted it a few mims after, but I am putting it up again.
Some years ago, I was privileged to serve as a Presiding Officer (PO) for the general election during my NYSC.
One of the major things we were told during preparation was this: if thugs demanded the ballot boxes, we should hand them over. In simple terms, your life was not worth the sacrifice.
The experience itself was something else. We walked through stony-rocky-like terrain (attached is the pic below) to the village where we were posted.
Two policemen were attached to us for security. My assistant was a northern guy who spoke average English. Everyone was cheerful and lively until it was almost time for the election to begin.
Then my assistant went to meet some men. They spoke in Hausa for a while and he came back. At that point, I was already sensing manipulation because I could not understand what they were discussing.
He returned and told me one of the political parties wanted to “appreciate” us with money.
I asked, “For what exactly? We haven’t even started voting yet.”
I rejected it immediately.
Ironically, during training, we were told not to reject money if people offered it in appreciation of our efforts. But at least let us make the effort first...🤣
That decision created tension instantly. I turned to the security officers attached to us, expecting support, but they went against me immediately.
One of them said, “If you are not careful, we will abandon you here and you will face the consequences yourself.”
I was stunned. I still cannot explain how I summoned the courage to stand my ground and remind them that I was the Presiding Officer and they were meant to protect both me and the election process.
Honestly, it was God’s mercy that kept me safe because it truly felt like one man against everyone else.
Later, during a short break, they offered me food, but I refused to eat it.
At the end of the day, one of them looked at me and said, “Look at this small boy...” 😁
If you ever serve in an election, wisdom is essential.
After the election, we returned to the polling center and slept on the classroom floor, clutching the election results tightly. I kept waking up intermittently through the night just to make sure everything was still safe.
I don suffer small for my country sha...😁
I never shared this story with any family member before, but today I can look back and simply thank God for safety.
Even getting paid after the service came with another long wait.
Truthfully, there are too many forces- both in low and high places working against the system. It may take generations to truly cleanse and strengthen it.
If you will be serving as a corps member in the next general election, be guided by wisdom!
May the Lord help our country. And may we see a need to work for a country we desperately hope for!

@mariolexxx You guys need to skip the theory.
Let's get to the practical!

I left Nigeria in 2020 and some of the friends I left are now millionaires, one is even a billionaire. Some of you have a small mindset that you think people working warehouse night shifts abroad have made it in your eyes.

I’m so jealous of the people who actually made it out of this country.

@HarmlessHQ @chibzdonald Baba, we no dey stand with nonsense.
We are just not wired to.
English

@chibzdonald That's not how it is supposed to be. You should stand with your club come rain, come sunshine.

Chelsea fans are the most nonchalant football fans ever.
They have this gift of easily detaching themselves from the club when the club is performing horribly.
And they have this passion to defend the club with their last breath when the club is performing well.
They are also the only fanbase that are most critical of their players.
I don't just know how to put it.
But Chelsea fans are the best set of football fans and at the same time, the worst set of football fans.
English

@CFCPys @ChelseaFC He can actually go to HELL!
Everyone in this picture safe Hato.
Pathetic bunch!
English

@kay_mahapa The players I pity the most are
Saka
Madueke
Eze
Guehi
Anyone recall the monkeys from the Euros?
Those three would explain why they had to be chosen.
