RBI gives record dividend to Government of India.
More then 2.7 Lakh Crores.
Since 2013-2014, RBI has been giving 99.99% of its surplus (profits) as dividend to Government of India.
From records available for 2008-2014, when Dr. Manmohan Singh's government was in the saddle, the dividend given is
2008- 71%
2009 - 75.26%
2010 - 69.05%
2011 - 63.41%
2012 - 53.14%
So, when Dr. Manmohan Singh was running the country, the UPA-1 and UPA-2 Government allowed the RBI to retain significant portion of its profits and built a buffer.
And then this duffer came to power....

Why is the Rupee going down? Just because we use foreign brands FOR everything. Colgate, Samsung, Liril, Lux, Whisper, Gillette, Honda, Toyota, Head&Shoulders, Jockey, Marks&Spencer, Amazon, Flipkart, Hdfc (80% foreign owned), Templeton, Fidelity, Prudential, McDonalds, JP Morgan, AiG,............we use all brands belonging to someone else. We pay royalty, and dividend to these companies. $ will soon be 200, thanks to our efforts.
