Another Solana lawsuit has materially escalated HAWK TUAH & Meteora this time.
A US federal judge has granted plaintiffs leave to file an expanded amended class action complaint, significantly broadening the case beyond a single token and an isolated securities claim.
The amended complaint adds new defendants including Meteora, its CEO Benjamin Chow, Haliey Welch, Solana Sweeper, Memetic Labs, and 16 Minutes LLC, and introduces additional causes of action for common law fraud, breach of contract, deceptive practices under New York General Business Law sections 349 and 350, and unjust enrichment.
The court accepted that the newly presented evidence is sufficiently concrete at the pleading stage. The amended filing relies on a confidential informant, internal communications, contractual documentation, and blockchain forensic analysis. The allegations include pre planned extraction mechanics, coordinated sniper wallet activity, false representations regarding locked liquidity, and wallet cluster patterns alleged to connect this launch to prior Solana based schemes.
Importantly, the court found no futility, no bad faith, and no undue delay. With the case still at an early procedural stage, the judge permitted plaintiffs to place their full theory of coordinated technical, promotional, and financial conduct before the court.
This is no longer a narrow dispute over a meme token launch. It is now a multi defendant case alleging systematic retail extraction, platform level conduct, and repeatable technical patterns, another example of value extraction occurring on Solana in a mix of marketing and sophisticated scamming with innocent users left as victims.
The next phase will be motions to dismiss. If the amended complaint survives, discovery will be consequential.
