Andy Reid's advice #2: Always be honest. Trying to sustain yourself in any profession means being truthful. People see through dishonesty, leading to a spiral of lies and rejection. Be honest now, it's the best time and policy. #Honesty #Integrity #Leadership #chiefskingdom

Craig Drury always gave us valuable time when we called high school games when I was coming up as a broadcaster. “Bulldog defense!” Fun times with @Spencer_Linton, Drew Dowling and Brett Denham on iProvo when we were BYU students cutting our teeth and enjoying good ball.

Fun time honoring the great Craig Drury tonight. There are few that have had a greater impact on my life than Coach. One of the greatest coaches in Utah high school history. Also fun to see this Provo High team. They've got some real ballers. Coach Collinsworth is building a great program at PHS. Love to see it.

That Dabo Swinney press conference wasn’t about principle or integrity. It was about a coach who failed to evolve, watching the game pass him by, and panicking as he feels the end coming. Sad. Desperate. And Very telling.

585lbs for 6. That bar whip was too much for me towards the end I almost fell back🤣 I definitely had more because those first 5 reps were easy. I probably dropped down too fast on the last rep which threw my technique off, I’ll take It though. Progressive overload is a nuisance!

We are going to see soon that 1000s of players made mistakes. Coach nails it. Stop worrying about a check. Start enjoying life. Most of those in the portal just made their college experience more expensive and many just ended theirs.

@andrewrich22 I love Jay. You asked a question and I gave you the answer. It can’t be disloyal. The players and coaches don’t owe a duty of loyalty but a fan isn’t rational. They are irrationally loyal to people they don’t even know. It makes them frustrated when that isn’t returned.

@alpinecasey Fans are critical to a programs success no doubt, but someone leaving to join a friend/new opportunity isn’t personal. It’s part of the business. I don’t think it’s fair to say a coach that leaves a program isnt loyal. Jay left us in a WAY better place than when he started.

@andrewrich22 Fans provide extreme loyalty and revenue to the program. They feel connected to the players and coaches. They don’t know them but they think they do. All they know is a caricature of the players/coaches. It hurts them when they feel the loyalty isn’t returned.

@andrewute1 Wasn’t he asked to step down? Was he not supposed to talk to the coaches that he hired? That’s how the coaching business works. Genuinely curious what was expected. Your AD is the one that really burned it down.

Coach Whit made a business decision to leave and burn it down on the way out. That’s fine that’s his decision. I hope the Utah administration also makes a business decision to never recognize him again going forward.
