Harlem, Manhattan (1991). A young promoter named Sean Combs & Heavy D hosted a celeb ball game at City College. About 5,000 tix were sold for a 2,700-person venue. The crowd bumrushed security and 8 ppl were killed in the stampede. Combs expresses his regret in this '92 clip.

@chrislhayes RCV is good, Chris. Data and studies have shown it leads to more positive campaining and opens the door to multiple parties. Its a key electoral reform thats needed. I did this story a while back: whyy.org/segments/tired…

RCV is something I've changed my mind on as the results have come back. I used to be mildly (not fervently pro) and I'm now I'm mildly anti

If your cause is just, your actions must be justified. We look back on the civil rights movement with enormous admiration because their actions were admirable. But some of these university protests (Columbia, etc.) seem to have missed that opportunity.
