@andyhubbert Hey Andy 👋 We're really sorry to hear about the trouble you've had with this 😞 Just to double check, have you heard back about this from our team either in the app or over email? If so, can you let us know what they last said? Thanks.
English

@shellsdotcom not loving the fact I’m getting no #email reply, your chat bot tells me to contact support and then all your support links don’t work… not making me feel like a #valued #customer at all!
English

@veggieequallife This is despicable. The person should be ashamed of themselves. Contrasting options are great and make us question ourselves but if you’re taking it further than that then just stop
English

@Dr__Sarmy Did you feedback to the practice/practitioner? I agree not good at all but don’t generalise to the ones of us who are working hard to upskill to AP level in the right way please!
English

@DrTweXet @DaveLeghorn @Annie168918 @ExMomentum_NHS Incorrect. ANPs like other HCPC registered AHPs are autonomous practitioners. Responsibility rests with the individual. Consultant might ‘oversee’ or be the named consultant but each individual is responsible for their own practice and patient
English

@DaveLeghorn @Annie168918 @ExMomentum_NHS Hubris is quite unbecoming. Ultimately the care of the patient you treat rests with the consultant. To assume you’re able to “run rings around the consultant” is galling.
English

@DrTweXet @Annie168918 @ExMomentum_NHS Wow. Why does a Dr have to have trained them? Why not another ANP or health professional? Think you need to get off your high horse. Yes you should’ve been offered a choice but don’t now go and devalue AHPs for fun
English

@Annie168918 @ExMomentum_NHS I don’t dispute an ANP can be good at tasks a Dr has trained them to be good in.
Doing procedures well ≠ good clinicians.
And i refute the taskification of jobs. Have a nice day Annie. This was a post about my health needs not being met by the remit of an ANP. I stand by it.

@madebygoogle I bought a new chromecast HD from the Google store a few days ago. Located in the UK. Couldn’t get any further than wifi setup no matter what I tried. Still got it but got the label to send it back to be honest!
English

@andyhubbert Thanks for tweeting us, Andy. We’d love to see what we can do to help — what type of Chromecast do you have? Also, what country are you located in?
English

So @GoogleUK your @Chromecast couldn’t connect to my wifi after multiple tries and your customer expert told me it was my wifi… @AmazonUK firetv stick connected instantly with no issues at all… hmmmm….
English

@Chris_Riggers I totally agree thanks for bringing some perspective. I also agree that we shouldn’t mislead. Some of the titles AHPs get are ridiculous. I’m a First Contact Practitioner. Try explaining that to patients! (For the record I keep with saying I’m a physio)
English

@LukeAmos__ @healthyopinion @dr_shibley @Nick077886 @EstherClift @alisonleary1 @adamgordon1978 Physio is a huge area and that’s like saying you’re a doctor without any qualifier. I’m an MSK physio - you wouldn’t want me treating your stroke patients. I don’t disagree with the consultant thing but please don’t generalise AHPs
English

@healthyopinion @dr_shibley @Nick077886 @EstherClift @alisonleary1 @adamgordon1978 And when I say a practitioner of something, I don’t mean a specialty (frailty), I mean nurse/paramedic/physio
English

I totally support @EstherClift. I have to remind you that the medical degrees are honours degrees and are lower degrees than doctorates. There are some rare individuals also trained in both medicine and nursing. @alisonleary1 @adamgordon1978

@Dr_Done_ Things like this give all legit AHPs who work in extended scope roles a bad image. You know the ones who actually understand their scope of practice and don’t go for the instagram likes and follows but do their job. Really frustrating as an FCP physio!!!

"Are you a doctor?"
"No, I'm a physio"
"Can I see a doctor instead"
"Yes, but it will be 3-4 weeks"
Doctor in 3-4 weeks
"I'm going to refer you to the physio, this isn't my area of expertise"

Seeing a medical doctor in general practice means you are less likely to attend the Emergency Department. Did you know only 43.9% of appointments are now with GPs? You and your family deserve the highest quality care. #ItsOkayToAsk for a doctor.
