Is there a whatsapp etiquette? My sister does this thing where each sentence or thought is a separate message, so I'm never sure when she's finished or when I can start replying. I think this is nuts. Am I right?

@Fendweller I think a long screed of text can be considered a little oppressive. But I’m old enough to still use gifs so what do I know of modern asynchronous communication

@antoniaward I'll never think it not crackers though. If thoughts 2,3 and 4 modify thought 1 and make my reply to it redundant, then I won't start replying until 20 minutes after the thoughts have stopped coming. So they may as well have been 1 post.
