The single skill that has impacted my business career more than anything was copywriting. Specifically AIDA - attention, interest, desire, action. PS: I stole this example from @nevmed. He’s been my #1 copywriting influence. And Frankly, personal influence. I'll give you an example. So let's start with the A. Instead of saying “I'm gonna convince you to drink more water”, say “hey, have you ever seen those big meatheads at the gym who carry around a used gallon of milk that's full of water?” That grabs your attention. Then I make you interested. ”You see, the reason why they're doing that is because if you drink water within 1 hour. Working out, you will grow muscles 30% more than if you didn't drink water.” Then I make you desire it, “you see, the thing about water, it's got this magical compound called an amino acid that repairs muscles incredibly quickly and it's super easy. In fact, water's free.” Then I'm gonna be super specific on how to act on it. ”And so while you're working out, don't do this 3 hours later, you have to do this while you're working out. Carry 1 gallon of water. It can come from the tap, it could be sparkling water, it doesn't matter, but you have to drink it while you're working out.” And so, this is a significantly better way of convincing you, someone who cares about building big muscles, to drink more water. By the way, obviously, everything I just said is made up. But AIDA (attention, interest, desire, action) works.

Shout out to @SquatUniversity for having killer videos on YT and X. Working on strengthening adductors and using your videos as reference points. Even after 1 day noticing improvements

Two ways to lower body fat % 1. Preserve lean body mass and lower fat mass 2. Preserve body weight + fat mass and increase total lean body mass If you care about scale weight, go option 1. If you don’t, go option 2.

Lunch today: Pulled roasted chicken breast. Quinoa + brown rice. Moroccan salad made from arugula, peas, mint, parsley, pickled red onions, garlic and a za’atar vinaigrette. Getting back on track for me looks like movement, H2O, veggies, protein, walk and get sunshine.

Got back from 2 weeks of holiday, eating out every meal, not following the workout plan to the T, and drinking alcohol. All good. Drank water throughout the day. Did yoga each day. Caught sunshine with Erica on walks. Had fun. Now back to work. It’s that simple.

@ChrisMasterjohn Reminder to all that nature doesn’t only mean forests! Being in an area that isn’t man made is key (beaches, lakes, rivers all count)

Whenever frustrated with the progress, look back at the plan goals and the data supporting. Plan to lift 4 days a week but only get 1? Don’t get mad at the scale or mirror, keep a log and track. Data doesn’t have feelings. @HabitKit is the best I’ve seen for tracking.

Next scan in 3-4 months after periods of testing. I've said this before, this body fat % will go down. Mark my words.

Psychologically though, this can feel huge at first. Just know, you need to find what works FOR YOU! And that can sometimes just take time. The more specific the goal, the more meticulous the tracking. Just remember, it's a long game. Keep at it and you will succeed.

Dexa scan day. Body fat % went up. On 1 hand, it's super disappointing. All this mental and physical effort - figuring out calorie count, tracking foods, training 6 days/week, fully trusting a process - and it ultimately ended up not working for me.

@CoachDanGo I’m astounded even with 1/2 BW in oz of water per day you’re not experiencing serious stomachaches or cramping. That’s been my protocol and find that I need to drink at least 20oz per fiber serving and then take sips throughout the day to ensure proper hydration

I max dosed psyllium husk but did not expect this. For the past 28 days, I've maxed out on psyllium husk, taking two tablespoons 3x a day, and it's quietly changed my life. Here's what it did to my body:
