Pak Air Force (PAF) now has permanent bases close to the Red Sea. In a country that Pakistan’s number 1 external security threat, India, would never dare attack. This is proper horizontal strategic depth. Many have hypothesized that India could potentially decapitate all of PAF’s bases inside Pakistan within hours of an attack so as to incapacitate PAF.
