@BLocsports Why are we trying to frame a pitch outside of our body and across from where we are setup in the first place? Too many guys trying to teach something they have zero clue about.

@BradyDoorey Live in the moment. Enjoy the journey. Buy into the process and not the results. Don’t be afraid to admit you made a mistake. It’s not a sign of weakness but a position of strength.

“Canseco, Mark McGuire, Rafael Palmeiro, guys in the homerun derby, sometimes they bounce on their back leg.” Eugene Bleeker I love it when guys like Eugene use some of the greatest power hitters in @MLB history as the example! Just do what they did right Eugene? You couldn’t do it! I played in the MLB for almost a decade and I couldn’t do it! But these kids you’re fleecing should believe that they can do it? Hilarious!!! #shegone @notgaetti @BobFile @twuench @billdubs @iamrags @artofhitting @hittingguru7 @slider_sinker @SliderDom @low_and_outside @TheRealJHair @DMEASrecruiting @VandyonTigers @mikepiazza31 @SalMarinello @RVGDag @AMBS_Kernan

It’s Game 7 of the World Series, bases loaded, 2 outs, tie game, in the bottom of the 9th. You can choose any batter in baseball in their prime to get you a hit… WHO DO YOU CHOOSE?

@CoachBeede I understand your point, Coach. Just wanted to point out as well that there is a lot more factors that go into determining who is a better hitter other than just who hits the ball harder.

@atoj247 Not the point ! Game changer stats never tell the entire story. 0-4 doesn’t mean as much if ball strike is occurring on a regular basis.

A reminder for tournament weekend: The athlete who goes 0-for-4 with hard contact is a better player than the athlete who goes 2-for-4 with two infield singles. College coaches know this. Travel coaches know this. The only people who don't know this are the parents in the stands. Watch the swings. Not the box score.

@BLocsports Instead of teams playing Nerd Ball and all of the stupid Manfraud changes to try to fix the game (pitch clock, limited pickoffs, 3 batter minimum, bigger bases, ghost runner at second). Maybe if more teams started to play this brand of baseball, more people would watch.

Hey young players, you want to see how to play the game of baseball the right way? Watch the Tampa Bay Rays. So refreshing to see in an era driven by analytics and metrics. Not selfish and not overly flashy but they play a winning brand of baseball.

@TroyPSilva Very rarely, if at all, do I shout out hitting mechanics from the coach’s box. Mostly cues on approach based on the count. Like “Get a pitch in your box,” “Win this pitch,” or “Compete.”

3rd base coach: “Let’s go! Get a good pitch to hit!” 1st base coach: “Let the ball travel!” Dad: “Remember to keep your weight back!” Grandpa: “Get that runner over!” Little bro: “Hit a bomb!” Dugout: “Don’t lunge!” “Stay thru the baseball!” “Stay short to the ball!” “Watch for the 1st pitch curveball!” “Sit fastball!” Hitter thoughts: You gotta block out the noise, have extreme focus, control the pressure and anxiety, have your plan and compete. Just writing this gave me anxiety, imagine what that young ballplayer is going through in the moment the next time you want to start barking out instructions on how to hit! 🤐 #BaseballTruth

Been coaching baseball for 35 years. I can confidently say … The same fundamentals that won baseball games in my year #1 still wins them today. Even more so now, because others are neglecting the basics at an alarming rate. So many are mistakenly seeking a magic potion. When doing simple better than everyone else is the key. On offense, defense, team play, etc.

Here’s a recent video of Scott Kingery working with @OPPtraining own AJ Arroyo. AJ Arroyo deserves some blame for ruining Kingery’s career as well! Remember AJ also works with Kyren Paris who after an incredible start in 2025 hasn’t sniffed the @MLB and apparently hasn’t played a game in AAA for some reason. Here’s a story about the problem with Kyren’s swing. halohangout.com/angels-fixing-… #shegone @notgaetti @BobFile @twuench @billdubs @iamrags @artofhitting @hittingguru7 @slider_sinker @SliderDom @low_and_outside @TheRealJHair @DMEASrecruiting @VandyonTigers @mikepiazza31 @SalMarinello @RVGDag @AMBS_Kernan
