@FrankGashumba Apass believes in his craft. He’s not chasing money. He is living in the moment. That separates him from his peers. An absolute gem. Money wl chase him.

There’s no male Ugandan artist as professional, disciplined about his music career and talented like @IamApass ! I happened to book him last week for Guvnor’s Saturday night Fever, he posted and promoted the gig , did a drop for the night without any reminder. Arrived 1 hour before his performance, he came with his music technician and performed with live instrumental sounds so we can hear his voice. Not seen something like that before! Everyone was happy and complimenting his performance! Apass deserves his flowers. BOOK HIM!

This is the Uganda Cranes team, which reached the 1978 Afcon final in Ghana. Can you name the players from L-R and their clubs at the time? Kale, let's go.

@BadruZziwa You’re right hajji. Nkata transferred from Express to SC Villa in 1992. I don’t know what express fc management was thinking? Nkata was the best holding midfielder of his generation and, arguably the best the best in that role Ug has ever had.

@BadruZziwa Hajji the question is tough. Ibrahim kirya from Nile FC, Sewanyana and Bora both signed from Coffee FC. Not sure about Nkata. I think yava mu KCC FC. But how could KCC release such player to Villa??

Uganda Cranes side that won the 1992 Cecafa Cup title in Tanzania. Uganda defeated Tanzania's "B" side 1-0 courtesy of Issa Sekatawa's solitary goal. Can you identify these players from right-left?

@BadruZziwa Hajji HBZ, you deserve your flowers for furnishing us with rich history👏. We really appreciate. I remember this squad, I think they won CECAFA U19 in Ethiopia. Most of them came from small’ teams. Sekaja was in Statehouse , Odoch in police etc

Oh no saddest news! Charles remains one of the icons of the sports mic in Uganda and Africa. Three occasions engraved him onto my heart 1: El Merrick Vs Express in Sudan 91/92 2.: SC Villa Vs Iwanyawu in Nigeria ( Majid Musisi’s hair brush header moment) 3: Uganda Cranes CECAFA triumph against TZ in Zanzibar in 1992/93. One hs to listen to those monumental commentaries from Charles to understand his gem. He was also a good person, he used to live in commucation flats in Ntinda near our neighbourhood and he was a humble, respectful man. May he Sleep peacefully eternally 🫶

God has a sense of humour. He went and recreated my left foot from the 80s and 90s and placed it on this Nigerian-Algerian-English-Frenchman's body some 30 years later. Even the names rhyme - Mark Ssali, Michael Olise. Why didn't He just heal my 'dead' knee instead? Sleek, silky!
