Without going into spoilers, there’s a portion of The Mandalorian & Grogu that feels like something straight out of a Jim Henson project such as Labyrinth or The Dark Crystal. Debatably my favorite parts of the entire movie. Absolutely adore that this film feels just as much Grogu’s story as it does Din’s.

A destructive self-sacrifice means a lot more than “trying to fix the system”. Sure it means the universe is completely remade and there’s merit to questioning that. But in my opinion being free from God’s “plan” is a cause worth dying for.

#GoodOmens3 I don’t think the finale is perfect, but this analysis misses the point. Aziraphale and Crowley saw a broken system and made a sacrifice for a better future they’d never see. This is actually a lot like the themes of Andor.

Top Gun is having its 40th anniversary at my work and man, it is the definition of a ‘Dad Movie’. It even had a kid, Top Gun: Maverick. I just can’t wait for the sequels Top Gun: Ryker and Top Gun: Braxton!

Maybe one of the problems with our increasingly non-reading culture is the fact that reading classic literature is now treated as proof of intelligence instead of a source of enjoyment. We need to correct that.
