@NeverteIImeodd I mean, she couldn't have possibly saved her kids if the train was actually going to hit them. The kids also were too small to get hit or ran over if they stayed against the ledge. The mom basically hurt herself for no reason.

It was the concept of if a wrestler was to walk through an airport would people stop and notice them due to how large they were. Like can they walk through the airport and get noticed and turn heads? Vince was known to want guys who make that happen and if they can't pass that test, he wouldn't be as interested in them.

Vince McMahon never wanted wrestlers to feel relatable. He wanted them to feel LARGER THAN LIFE. A wrestler looking like they were genetically engineered in a lab will ALWAYS grab casual attention faster than “generic workrate guy #486” who looks like you and me 😭

The famous airport test...the only thing he didn't do enough was take these larger than life characters give them stories that we could relate to as mere mortals. Look what happened with Stone Cold for example. That story of the guy who friggin' hates his boss and gives him the finger resonates with EVERYONE. The WWE headquarters turned into Tony Montana's operation in Miami in the 80's = just printing so much money the bank manager couldn't count it all.
