I feel crazy saying it, but email newsletters are somehow still undervalued. Morning Brew sold. The Hustle sold. Milk Road sold. 300 million Americans subscribe to >1 newsletter. Advertisers love them because you get an opt-in, focused & loyal audience. Yet I still find myself explaining to creators & founders how an 8-figure, 80%+ EBITDA margin business is attractive. Economics of a software business. Reputation of a newspaper business.
