@vialistpilot sometimes they are. and sometimes they’re not. twenty one pilots is not enabling scalpers. they’re playing the 5th biggest stadium in the world and selling tickets through a notoriously scammy and unavoidable company that is known for fucking over fans

lowkey im done supporting them. they built their fanbase off “being different” from other bands because they “actually care” about their fans. just to enable dynamic and platinum pricing with no verified fan system OR cancelling scammer listings. countless other artists have.

@vialistpilot that’s not what i’m saying. what i’m saying is that, like ethel cain and harry styles, they can try to retroactively take tickets from scalpers. but, again, that’s not an easy process

@vialistpilot there’s also so many contractual nuances that come with concerts. there is more than likely a clause that gives live nation a bunch of leeway to take control of sales. artists have been able to take that back and try to give resale tickets to fans, but it’s hard and takes time

clikkies need to know this isn’t a pilots exclusive problem. it never has been. every major tour gets scalped, twenty one pilots have very little control just because of the nature of the industry

I’ve never seen a mess like this even for the biggest artists in the world. Entire stadium sold to scalpers. You have to do something to reissue tickets to fans @twentyonepilots @tylerrjoseph @joshuadun
