@slmandel @GrahamCoffeyDC Without a CBA and a coordinated player’s union they will not demand to be paid more to play an extra round of games.
English

@ChicagoVOID @barstoolsports It’s disappointing that they have the knowledge to be a credible voice, but they've traded that credibility for cheap clicks in this instance.

wtf kinda post is this?
the game is engagement, so, sure.
but, LeBron is inarguably the 2nd best player of all time, & arguably the best player of all time.
why post this? why?
Lakers are literally missing their best player, & just took a team that is possibly 1 of the best ever assembled to the brink in a must-win game.
OKC was always going to win this series, but all the haters would’ve still said stupid deprecating shit like this, even if they took it to 5-6-7 games.

@eaglesBDN @BriAmaranthus Correct. Oregon first has to win a national championship in football.
English

The Dallas Cowboys became “America’s Team” by thinking bigger than football.
Now, when it comes to the future of college football’s international branding, the Oregon Ducks might be next👀

@PerSources They were supposed to beat a mediocre 76ers team. I wish that people like you had a smaller platform.
English

@FanaticFen765 @SeanGrandePBP The reason is defense. Most teams realize that the season is playoff seeding, nothing more. The C’s need to realize (or deal with) the variance that comes with the 3 pt shot and understand that the 3 pt shots that are available during the season won’t be there in the playoffs.
English

@SeanGrandePBP Back-back years of historically bad 3 point shooting in the playoffs. I can’t seem to find a reason
English

@jerryferrara Check the teams have historically won a championship and you will realize the importance of a team’s seed. By the way, the winner of the Spurs-OKC conference championship will likely win the championship.
English

@Sam_Federman @joonlee When you factor in the amount of times that they have embarrassed themselves in the playoffs then you will realize that it definitely is complicated. With that said, Tatum and Brown are in the middle of their prime years, so they still have time to change the perception.
Action Network@ActionNetworkHQ
Do the Celtics need to consider a change at coach? They have lost several series as massive favorites recently. 2023 -550 to beat the Heat ❌ 2025 -800 to beat the Knicks ❌ 2026 -1300 to beat the Sixers ❌
English

@joonlee Don’t think anybody will remember 30 years from now that the playoff field was weak in 2024.
Should they have more than one championship to show for this? Probably. But so many great teams never get one. Don’t think the legacy is that complicated.

@mike_petriello Not likely is being kind. The Mets faithful are hilarious with their inability to cope with reality.
English

This part is absolutely *crucial.*
No, you weren't making the playoffs if you lost 12 in a row and your league sent its champion right to the World Series.
Now? Might not be likely, but it's sure not impossible. Not like it used to be.
Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo
Lots of folks -- myself included -- have noted that no team has made the playoffs after losing 12 straight. But that ignores the fact that since the postseason expanded to 14 teams, only two other clubs have lost 12 in a row. Fangraphs still projects the Mets' odds at 42.6%.
