@_camouchie I personally enjoy it. Creator Clash last year was some of the best YouTuber/twitch content I've seen in awhile. I think it's a net positive overall. It's entertaining and brings in more viewers to the sport.

Can't be overstated: creator/exhibition boxing is not some godsend for the sport. Boxing has been on a steady decline (unfortunately, great sport) and out of shape internet kids jumping on cycles fighting each other isn't a solution lmfao "OMG THE NON-PROFESSIONAL LOST?!" 🤡

@_camouchie Will it save the sports?Who knows. But at the end of the day, it's getting more kids interested in the sport. I guarantee there will be pro boxers in 10-15 years that got started in boxing because of Jake Paul.

@bdotcole You can say yes it brings eyes to the sport in a direct sense but actual professional boxing likely won't be saved you can ask a stranger about their favorite MMA fighters vs Boxers and they probably couldn't give you more than 3 active pro boxers

@_camouchie You just have a pessimistic perspective on it. Even if only 10% of viewers care about actual boxing, that's still an additional 10% of viewers that are now fans that wouldn't have been before.

@bdotcole Short term it gives that illusion. Reality is that the actual organization and financial stability of the sport will rely on influencer and creator participation and that's only a small demographic of people who care about boxing. Maybe 10% of viewers actually care for boxing.
