I warned that the opposite would happen in both scenarios. They got both wrong, and I got both right. I am not pointing this out to brag, but to demonstrate that I understood what would happen and they didn't. Therefore, no one should put any stock in what those so-called experts have to say now. I think you may be "over thinking" it. Just take a look at the photo. Don't add anything to it. Just try and understand it as it is. I don' see the ice overflowing from the glass if it melts and I sure as hell don't see the ice taking any more mass (if it melts) than it already is.
