Michael Edwards was highly impressive with some of his signings during the Klopp era but there was a Michael Edwards prior to Klopp who was less impressive with his signings. While I think Edwards is extremely talented at spotting players I do think he built a big reputation partly on Klopps genius. And I'm not sure you should give your whole football operations over to someone whose main talent is spotting players. Head of recruitment ya but overall head of football is a serious gamble IMO. Sorry if that doesn't support the Edwards hype train👍

Seems to be a lot of people misunderstanding the role Edwards would be undertaking if he returned. He wouldn't be the sporting director. Now maybe him appointing the sporting director could be good but I have lots of questions.
