A medical doctor, who is the sister of the late engineer Charles Henry Amissah, has filed a lawsuit seeking GH¢20 million in damages against three major hospitals, several healthcare professionals, and the Attorney General.
The suit alleges a series of negligent actions that allegedly contributed to her brother’s untimely death. The writ names the Ghana Police Hospital, the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, certain doctors and nurses, and the Attorney General’s Department as defendants.
According to the statement of claim, despite being taken to multiple medical facilities, the deceased was denied immediate emergency care due to reported unavailability of beds, ultimately resulting in his death.

Police say he ran a platform called “VIP Sleep Fetish 2025,” where the videos were allegedly posted. Investigators also suspect he met victims at nightclubs in Accra and used drugs like Xanax and Midazolam to sedate them before the assaults.
