@tito_mboweni Beautiful… a bit of black pepper, carrot, celery and parsley and you have a chicken stock or broth that you can freeze and add to other dishes to enhance the flavour profile … red, green and yellow peppers also freeze nicely so you don’t have to let them go to waste …

Whole chicken, peppers, onions, garlic, salt and a half cup of water. Here goes! ( low heat ).

@tito_mboweni Cholesterol bomb… sausage or wors typically has a lot of fat so start with water…not too much (about same amount as the oil you added) bring to a boil and simmer will start to fry in its own juices/oil… Chicken -even some fatty red meat cuts work well this way - Bon appetit🍷

@tito_mboweni After 90 min should simmer in own juices & fats ..add olive oil; onions and sauté for 5-7 min… add garlic… potatoes, carrot sweetcorn, peas..the combos you like ..parsley and celery… soy sauce to thicken and brown..peanut butter - a spoon Mrs Balls Chutney.. beef stock?& salt

@tito_mboweni Doesn’t look bad … but a little attention to detail for a good stew may make for a tastier and more nutritious meal… Try this.. wash and cut stewing beef -place in your le creuset pot with a cup of water - add bay leaf, pepper corns ,thyme simmer on medium heat for 90min

It is actually a beef not lamb stew. Nice.

@tito_mboweni … only saw now… trotters and beans came to mind: haven’t cooked it … but maybe with out the beans…boil trotters 40 min… once reduced and frying lightly… throw in your onions.. 5 - 6 min then garlic…a bit of pepper and salt to taste…
