Got this new styling on @instagram when scrolling down a profile. I find the glass effect distracting and constantly brings back attention when scrolling.

@ellashedesigns Either using defined libraries (SF Icons for an iOS app) or proving them with a link to the specific icon you used in your figma library.

Designers, when handing off your designs how do you make it easy for the dev to get the exact icons used in the design?

@MengTo And I don’t know if it’s my eyes playing tricks on me but I believe they also increased the contrasts across the OS

@benjdesign Yeah before, it was only working in perfect scenarios. Now the lights and shadows are sharper. Better readability.

Liquid glass feels so much cleaner now Back to the macOS I love. Finder is familiar again, the sidebar is cleaner, and the glass is less distracting with sharper details. The black gradient blending the Dynamic Island into the liquid glass is a great touch. The icons are also more consistent while keeping their personality.
