@sugarsh0t TIL While searching for which country uses those, Belgium and some part of Switzerland use septante, quatre-vingt and nonante while the rest of Switzerland uses septante, huitante and nonante lol. That’s even more confusing!

@sugarsh0t Most confusing thing when I was a kid was “un pistil” and “une étamine”. Could never remember which one was which until I told myself it was the reverse gender of their noun.

Look I know the English language has its flaws but gendered nouns are the fucking stupidest thing
