Thomas Massie spent 14 years in Congress. Zero ethics complaints. Zero foreign aid votes. Zero apologies. $35 million, nine months, and the full weight of the uniparty couldn't buy what they really wanted — which was his silence. They got his seat. He kept everything else. A campaign longer than Vietnam. A toast with raw milk from the Amish cartel. A two-page bill that took down the CEO of the World Economic Forum. Thomas Massie's concession speech wasn't a goodbye. It was a filing of the record. Here's what @RepThomasMassie put into evidence. 🧵👇

@anarchist_frodo @jamesanthony_us Nope, Ro Khana wrote it with support from Massie. Then Massie voted on another law that forced the redactions. Then he read the names of innocent people in the files. He is a second rate politician and thinker. The first time his election was on the national stage he lost by 10.

Massie should absolutely run for president, just not as LP candidate. Force the GOP to treat him like they did Ron Paul.

@MattKibbe The spin is strong in this one. He got beat, handily. Make all the excuses you want but just like every bill he authored, he was defeated at a game he had been playing for over a decade.

@jamesanthony_us @anarchist_frodo What bills did he get passed? Not bills that he tagged along with but that he authored and shepharded through to signature? And "sunlight" and "blocking" is just a way to excuse failure. I am not here for the performance, I am here for results.

@bigpappy513 @anarchist_frodo Bills that pass Progressive congresses and are signed by Progressive presidents are mostly godawfully tyrannical. Massie still got some valuable bills and amendments passed. Meanwhile, his sunlight and blocking were greatly valuable.

You can't tax rich people on unrealized gains from stocks because "it's not real money until it's sold." So explain to me why my property taxes keep going up based on the unrealized value of my house? I didn't sell it. I didn't cash out. I didn't make a profit. But somehow I'm paying taxes on paper gains every single year. Interesting how "unrealized gains" only become a problem when wealthy folks are involved.

@jamesanthony_us @anarchist_frodo Massie has exactly zero standalone bills he authored signed into law. He is prolific in coming up with stuff but ineffectual at delivering. I dont want another person shouting slogans but delivering no real change.

Massie should run for president as an independent. Ron Paul showed that running as a Libertarian is a liability, and running as a Republican leaves you blocked in the primary. Massie is proven. He can offer solid plans or even start a good party, and make himself credible. See links in reply.

@anarchist_frodo He can runas a republican and will lose. He does not have the cache you assume he does. Many view him as just another slimy politician. Paul walked on the stage with far more respect and still lost.

@mchatonne14716 @beerandtokens Cell phones were available in 1983, cable in 1950, McDonald's in 1955, and PCs in 1977. They existed, people just decided whether or not the could AFFORD them. Cell phones, eating out, PCs, were treated as items you WORKED towards not assumed was a right since they existed.

Again, this is a total different world. You didn’t buy Netflix and all of that. But TV was free. Now it’s not. You went to the movies, now people watch them on Amazon Prime. You need a cell phone to exist in today’s world. You had a land line. “We were frugal”. No.. you just existed in a world that was different and had less financial demands.
Todd Nida@ToddNidasqM

Back in the 70s we didn't take lavish vacations and didn't spend on iPhones, Netflix, Prime, Paramont +, internet, Amazon, DoorDash, and dining out all the time. Nowadays, people just choose to spend their money differently. Apartments were not luxury with exercise rooms, rooftop pools, and balconies. It was just different. Much more simple and money went a lot further.

@beerandtokens @psalemnly TV is still free, you can but a cell phone for a couple hundred, equivalent to a 70s landlines, and movie theaters still exist. Your "financial demands" are choices. Refusing to take responsibility will not help you.

Thomas Massie and I don’t agree on much. But billionaires and special interest groups spent $35 million in Kentucky to unseat one conservative congressman — all because he stood up to Trump. It’s everything that's wrong with our politics today.

🚨Why Trump Isn’t Attacking Senate Leader Thune (And Why That’s Smart Politics)🚨 To everyone wondering why Trump isn’t going harder after Thune: You clearly don’t understand politics. Why would Trump start an unnecessary war with the Senate Majority Leader? If he pisses him off, Thune could quietly kill his agenda for the next three years — blocking key bills from even reaching the floor, stalling cabinet picks and judicial nominees in committee, controlling which amendments get voted on, and whipping votes against him behind the scenes. That’s not smart — that’s political suicide. I don’t like Thune either, but Trump has to play this carefully. You don’t burn bridges with the most powerful man in the Senate unless you absolutely have to. He sets the schedule, decides priorities, and holds the gavel on every major fight. Mastering restraint is leadership. Not every fight is worth picking. Real power moves in silence. #Trump #Thune #Senate #MAGA #Politics #SmartLeadership #AmericaFirst

@DiligentDenizen I certainly support any audit of our voting system, however I am not entirely surprised by this result given the massive attention poured on this race. It's never been important as the democrats never even really tried and there was a long term incumbent plus an open Senate seat.

‼️🇺🇸: Ed Gallrein had a 356% INCREASE in voter quantity turnout than his Massie opponent predecessor 2 years ago 👀 Massie had a 19% turnout increase over his previous primary which was won by a massive margin. So we're to believe that 356% more boomer voters showed up for a candidate with no name ID and who REFUSED to debate his opponent? 🤔 The math ain't mathin' 🤷🏻‍♂️ Something stinks more than Gallrein's $25 MILLION in foreign-interest funding. All credit to @BasedSamParker go follow him. 🫡

@OwenShroyer1776 Of the 4 items in your list, debt is the only one Trump has direct control of. States control elections, lock down was state by state, and printing is done by the Fed, which (under Trump) has a new chairman. Trump has made mistakes but assigning blame without control is moronic.

@MassieforKY @realDonaldTrump I’ve never seen anything like this. Democrats, Republicans, independents, libertarians all want to vote Massie. It’s pretty simple: Massie will put WE THE PEOPLE first , he’s not bought and paid for by AIPAC and is a decent man with morals and values

Horrible Congressman Thomas Massie put out an old Endorsement, from many years ago, of him by me long before I found out that he was the Worst Congressman in the History of our Country. I endorsed Ed Gallrein, a true American Patriot, which Massie knows full well, so the statement that he put out is fraudulent, just like HE is fraudulent. WITHDRAW YOUR FAKE STATEMENT, MASSIE, RIGHT NOW! President DONALD J. TRUMP

$32 million dollars and an entire administration mobilized to destroy one congressman. His crime? Demanding answers about Epstein class abuse networks, and refusing to let child predators hide behind political cover. If that level of firepower doesn't tell you who's being protected, nothing will. Go Massie!

@ShawnRyan762 @Crzy_207 Spare me the "fighting for Esptein files" nonsense. He never demanded them before he seen a political opening. Ask Salvatore Nuara, Zurab, Leonic, and Nicola how they feel about his handling of the files. He is intent on scoring political points not actually accomplishing good.

Massie: $5.5M raised. Average donor gave $100. His opposition: $32 million. Three billionaires, Secretary Hegseth on the ground, four presidential attacks in one day, all to silence the guy fighting for the Epstein files. Trump calls elections rigged. Look in the mirror. Go Massie.
