We are at a moment that will define President Trump’s legacy. His instincts have been to finish the job he started in Iran, but he is being ill advised to pursue a deal that would not be worth the paper it is written on. Our commander-in-chief needs to allow America's skilled armed forces to finish the destruction of Iran's conventional military capabilities and reopen the strait.   Further pursuit of an agreement with Iran's Islamist regime risks a perception of weakness. We must finish what we started. It is past time for action.

While the price of virtually everything else skyrockets, the price of TVs remain weirdly low. Its almost like they don't want to price people out of the ability to be distracted, manipulated, and controlled. Anyone else notice that? Or is it just me?

@SenatorWicker @SASCGOP @CENTCOM Success? Iran has been 6 weeks away from a nuclear missile for over 30 yearswe shouldn’t be there? Cut off Israel support. They stole nuclear secrets from us, they were involved in JFK’s assassination, 9/11, Iraq war misinformation, Epstein, etc. Israel is the terrorist state.

At today's @SASCGOP hearing, @CENTCOM Commander Admiral Cooper highlighted the stunning success of Operation Epic Fury. - Reduced Iran's defense industrial base by 90%. - Degraded Iran's ballistic missile and drone capabilities. - Destroyed Iran's navy for a generation. - Eliminated Iran's resources to support terrorist proxies.

@JohnStossel It’s just privatizing surveillance that will ultimately attempt to force digital currency and the “social credit score”…..and yes stossel, these data centers increase our utility bills and there is little local economic value to these centers…

Data centers are big buildings full of machines that process what we do on our phones and computers. AI requires even more computing power, so companies are eager to build more data centers. The usual suspects are freaking out. “We must stop it!” says Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. johnstossel.com/data-center-fr…

@SenatorWicker I’m not thrilled to see you approving to spend more money than you actually have…the result is higher prices for everything…We need a law that says whenever the federal govt spends more than they receive all representatives and senators cannot be re-elected.

Thrilled to see the Navy’s FF(X) frigate program starting fast. FF(X) is a highly producible design with little risk. We’ll be able to build them very quickly. Containerized weapons will allow us to bring new munitions and payloads to bear much faster. As long as we don’t let gold-plated requirements stay in, we will look back on this program as a huge success in five years.
HII@WeAreHII

#ICYMI: The @USNavy has awarded HII’s #IngallsShipbuilding a $283M contract for lead yard support on the new FF(X) Frigate class. This allows Ingalls to begin long lead materials, advance design work and start pre-construction for the first ship. More: hii.com/news/hiis-inga…

🚨 BREAKING: In a HUGE move, the Governor of Mississippi is calling a special session for REDISTRICTING — scheduled *3 weeks* after the Supreme Court’s expected ruling on race-based Voting Rights Act districts If SCOTUS guts the VRA, HUGE GAINS could come to Republicans in the south! LET’S GO! We need to play hardball! 🔥 GOVERNOR: “The entire world knows the Callais decision has not yet been handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court. It is a decision that could (and in my view should) forever change the way we draw electoral maps.” “It is my belief and federal law requires that the Mississippi Legislature be given the first opportunity to draw these maps.” “And the fact is, they haven’t had a fair opportunity to do that because of the pending Callais decision.” “For those reasons, I am using my constitutional authority to allow the Mississippi Legislature to use their constitutionally recognized right to draw these maps once the new rules of the game are known following Callais.” “It is my sincere hope that, in deciding Callais, the U.S. Supreme Court will reaffirm the animating principle that all Americans are created equal and that when the government classifies its citizens on the basis of race, even as a perceived remedy to right a wrong, it engages in the offensive and demeaning assumption that Americans of a particular race, because of their race, think alike and share the same interests and preferences – a concept that is odious to a free people whose institutions are founded upon the doctrine of equality.” “The special session will take place on the calendar day that falls 21 days after the U.S. Supreme Court issues the Callais decision.”

Your effectiveness is directly proportional to how attacked/sued/jailed you are. More attacks means you are more effective. People choose to be less effective because they fear retaliation. Working on a problem in DC Is safer than solving a problem. So nothing gets solved!

I don’t typically make news on a Friday afternoon, but today I am going to make an exception: I’m calling a special session. During the recently completed regular session, the Legislature discussed drawing new maps to comply with a decision from a federal judge from the Northern District of Mississippi - a decision that has been appealed to the 5th Circuit and the appeal has been heretofore stayed pending future U.S. Supreme Court decisions. The entire world knows the Callais decision has not yet been handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court. It is a decision that could (and in my view should) forever change the way we draw electoral maps. It is my belief and federal law requires that the Mississippi Legislature be given the first opportunity to draw these maps. And the fact is, they haven’t had a fair opportunity to do that because of the pending Callais decision. For those reasons, I am using my constitutional authority to allow the Mississippi Legislature to use their constitutionally recognized right to draw these maps once the new rules of the game are known following Callais. It is my sincere hope that, in deciding Callais, the U.S. Supreme Court will reaffirm the animating principle that all Americans are created equal and that when the government classifies its citizens on the basis of race, even as a perceived remedy to right a wrong, it engages in the offensive and demeaning assumption that Americans of a particular race, because of their race, think alike and share the same interests and preferences – a concept that is odious to a free people whose institutions are founded upon the doctrine of equality. The special session will take place on the calendar day that falls 21 days after the U.S. Supreme Court issues the Callais decision.

The time is over for negotiations with Iran's regime. The radical successors of Khamenei can never be trusted to keep any promise or agreement. Our Commander-in-Chief should direct his skilled military leaders to finish destroying Iran’s conventional military capabilities and eliminating any last remnants of their nuclear program. This is the only way to ensure lasting stability in the region.

This week, I opposed the Democrat-led resolution to limit the president’s military options in Iran. Passing such a resolution now and curtailing the president’s military authority while so many of our service members remain engaged in the region would be dangerous. It would tie the commander-in-chief’s hands even as he works to eliminate the threat from Iran.

A lot of people are wondering why/how Erika Kirk has a “right” to a speedy trial. Yes, constitutionally that right is guaranteed to defendants however Erika is listed as the Victim of this case, and Utah has its own set of state victims’ rights. Erika filed a motion for a speedy trial under state laws on January 16th.
