@BoKnowsWeather People love to be snarky, not realizing the impact their posts have. You’ve been my weather guy since your early posts from the weather lab in Mahtomedi, and I often reference your predictions and analysis when discussing weather with xc skier & biking friends.

I’ve concluded that no one is ever happy no matter the circumstances here with weather and most people are miserable. Soooo exhausting. Seriously contemplating giving up social media contributions in 2026 and scaling way back to just focus on periodic posts and documenting storms and stuff that makes me happy.

Apparently, it’s like emptying the bench at the end of a basketball game. They pulled the pitcher, and had their 2nd baseman lob pitches hoping the Red Sox would eventually hit pop flys. I’ve just never seen that in the dozens of MLB games I’ve watched.

What is happening at the Twins game? Why did it turn into a HR derby?

How many of you use weather apps every day or multiple times per week, other than an exclusive radar app like RadarScope or RadarOmega etc? It’s ok if you use those too- but mostly curious what kind you use…and do you rely on an app for weather warning push notifications? Feel free to also comment with your favorite weather app.

@bjcreagh Is the rain to the west of us holds together then we will for sure. I think some of the models have it falling apart but I would say there’s a pretty good chance of some showers and storms.
