@PavanPa20 @curious_thesis @IshikaKesarwan4 Before you try to bite my head off, I've personally seen carpool passengers try to speak in Kannada, regardless how broken it was, and the driver went out of his way to help. It really isn't that difficult to try. We learnt Hindi, learning a few kannada words can't be that hard.

How long would you entertain a guest who constantly ridicules you for not knowing their language? Non-local speakers can atleast try to learn a word or two to communicate with locals. It's effort that counts.

First day in Bangalore, my mom and I were travelling back from the Airport. It was hot,and traffic was terrible. The driver didn't switch on the AC and started abusing us in Kannada. I've always been scared of the locals in Bangalore, and I don't think I'll change my mind.
