Tonight I fixed probably the best double dragon I've ever seen. The crt screen literally looks like it's popping out of the glass cover.

@topvint Oh yeah and I got a Hakko desoldering gun a couple years back that I only ever used a few times, but the times I used it, worked great.

@topvint Just ordered a cap kit so gonna give it a go! I've changed a few through hole caps back in the day, been a little while tho since I did a lot of soldering, but gotta get back into it. I think I'll do a little practice on a broken board first...

Order #4346 I fixed the audio issues of this Panasonic FZ-1 by recapping the console. While the console was powering on, I also discovered some leakage in the caps around the power circuit. Want to see what I did, please check below 👇

@arhu_mk Never played it, I'm pretty much focused on my personal list for what I'd like to port. But l, you never know.

Beginning work on my next port. This is the original game, just doing some research/documentation. But man, I really don't want to do this area. Wait, i'm infidelity. 😎 Oh, and for all those memes I see of "if you can beat this stage, i'll buy you a PS5" I'll take a PS5 now, heh.

@infidelity_nes loved the Displaced Gamers video on this level. my friends and I could beat this level as kids.. Just go fast and switch turtles. don't get why everyone acts like it was so hard. Ghosts n Goblins was a different story

@infidelity_nes This game really needs the port to SNES treatment! So much slowdown, lots of times the soundtrack dips for sfx, and a host of other performance issues. Also, really looking forward to the MSU1 and video treatment that recent Infidelity ports have brought to us.

@FBXGargoyle @infidelity_nes Seriously, the MSU1 soundtrack thing is so cool. I kind of wish every NES game had this.

Played through @infidelity_nes 's Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! port. Loved it! Has all the features of Super Punch-Out!! Also my MSU1 soundtrack has the unique benefit of not being overwritten by game sound effects, so you get to hear King Hippo's theme in all its intended glory!
