@davecoughlan80 @rtenews That's exactly why the role of the HSCL teacher is vital. Their role is to support parents specifically and build relationships with schools.

@rtenews My friend worked in a DEIS school. Her experience was that they had access to literally everything they needed and that funding was available for every request. She said that many of the kids never stand a chance... they're coming from households with lots of problems

@rtenews Still no HSCL teachers for Rural DEIS schools. Children living in poverty in rural areas are obviously experiencing different poverty to urban areas according to @Education_Ire . I thought in 2026 Child Poverty is the same experience for the child wherever they live

A new bridge project that was started last summer by the boss man and finished over the Xmas break. All the steel & a lot of the gates repurposed from other jobs over the years. Will be a big improvement to stock movements & water quality 😊🐂🐑
