@BostonYinzer@Bob883970974887@RedditCFB Story has it from some athletic dept. ol’ timers that in the late 60’s, Memphis approached the SEC with an open checkbook backed by one of the Memphis banks. UT was fine with it. The U of Mississippi blocked it fearing they could not survive without Memphis talent and market.
Prayers for Florida State. An unthinkable tragedy—for those who woke up today just wanting to go to school. My heart breaks for the victims, their families, and the entire community.
We must do better.
Mental illness is real, and it has many roots. Imagine being in such a dark place that your mind convinces you harming others—committing an act of terrorism—is the only option. It’s heartbreaking. And it must stop.
Society is broken. We’ve stopped investing in each other and started pouring everything into things that don’t matter. The constant bickering—politics, work, whatever it may be—only deepens the divide.
At the end of the day, most of us want the same things, we just disagree on how to get them: A good life. To be loved. A decent job to care for our families.
Yet somehow, we’ve been divided into sides—each believing a different path is the only one. And instead of listening, we let hate lead.
I believe the rich and powerful—regardless of party—have succeeded in dividing us, keeping us fighting while they accumulate more wealth and control. In today’s system, anyone with pure motives in politics has no shot unless they bow to the people funding their campaigns.
We have to stop living in a world that fosters this kind of darkness. We must return to what matters: compassion, empathy, and humanity.
I’m praying for you, Florida State. I truly mean it.
@ChildersRadio Agreed. The players and coaches have families and friends in town. I would imagine their minds were on the safety of their families and friends more so than the game.
@ChildersRadio We can never go back…$$$$, but Dick Van Patten says Eight IS Enough. Just add the Go5 tournament Coach Neuheisel and you propose. PERFECTION!

So far, the CFP selection committee has given us some blockbusters. Notre Dame led late over Indiana 27-3 and Penn State just went up on the committee’s final team 28-0 at the half. Take a bow.
@jefflipack@BruceFeldmanCFB CFP Committee was correct b/c they scripted this series of events. Not conspiracy theory; just a fact. If FSU was “in,” I doubt the players would have opted out. It’s also happening to other teams not in the CFP. I think there’s a later open portal for players after the CFP.
SOURCE: FSU QB Tate Rodemaker, who took over for injured Jordan Travis, to enter the portal and won't play in Orange Bowl vs UGA. FSU stars Trey Benson, Johnny Wilson, Keon Coleman; Jaheim Bell, Jared Verse & Fabien Lovett already opted out of the game.

@dannykanell My old boss would have a little fun with me every time I said someone had an “unfair advantage.” He’d ask, facetiously, if I’d be OK with someone having a “fair advantage.” 🤔
I've been holding back judgement on this Michigan story but the more information comes out the worse it gets. This is not "everyone is doing it" type stuff. This runs deep. Let's call it what is is: They've been CHEATING to gain an unfair advantage.
