Kwara North’s best and closest chance of producing a Governor (if at all) was in 2023, when PDP and Saraki gave us Shuaibu Yaman. We betrayed him. We said a lot of bad things against his person and decided not to vote for him. The same NORTHERNERS clamoring for “KWARA NORTH AGENDA” were the same people that campaigned against that Ticket because it was from SARAKI CAMP. They lied to them that APC would give them the Ticket in 2026 to produce Governor, and this, the successor to Gov. AA. Yesterday, the same APC and Gov. AA announced another CENTRAL man to do “CONTINUITY”, and buried whatever AGENDA KWARA NORTHERNERS ran. When my brother @egi_nupe said we were not GOOD ENOUGH to secure the Ticket of the APC, and that we should start negotiating for something else, they attacked him daily. Today, same guy is vindicated. I’m not even surprised. As it stands, KWARA NORTH has to either FIGHT for Deputy, or get NOTHING, cause the SPEAKERSHIP POSITION is going SOUTH! If getting the Deputy Governorship position wasn’t part of the negotiations, then I’m sorry for us.
