@Christo03770888 What a shame that your judged this person on face value who volunteers their time to teach and guide the next generation of young people. I hope you are 100% perfect in everything you do.

@Xeon4f145d96s1 Not replacing no. As doctors can get jobs too in the same places that PAs are working in. They just don’t want them.
English

@butteredcrump so you do agree noctors including PAs are replacing doctors
English

now make a heat map of the poorest regions of the country and overlay a heat map of physician associate usage over it.
Shaun Lintern@ShaunLintern
"It is a stain on our country that we have some of the poorest communities receiving the poorest care. We’ve got fewer GPs per head of population in the parts of the country that need them most, than we do in the parts of the country that need them least.”
English

@Xeon4f145d96s1 So you do agree there are jobs just doctors don’t want them
English

@butteredcrump You get around this by incentivising the job. Not by deploying noctors.
English

@iDrSunny @ExplosiveEnema2 @lengreview Imagine going by the title doctor but you don’t have a licence to practice. Is that not confusing for the public 🤷♀️ when your spouting your mouth about on X
English

Lots of new anonymous PA accounts have suddenly appeared
All in preparation for the @lengreview
How nice
🙂

@sophielouisecc So my husband has lived in the UK longer than his birth place. He pays his taxes, works for the NHS, is a decent member of society… why shouldn’t he be entitled?? More rights than the scroungers in the UK that have no desire to work and just want free money!
English

@DrLizFoster @Xeon4f145d96s1 @2230Josh What about the HCP-Med course in Edinburgh…. 3 years part time online study with 2 years in clinical placement…. Surely this makes a mockery of medical school? Or is that acceptable to produce good doctors 🤷♀️
English

They laughed at me when I suggested in a few years your medical care may not involve anyone whose actually studied medicine. AKA a Doctor.
Louella Vaughan@DrLKVaughan
Genuinely shocked by the dilution of standards around the running of Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs). Let's take a look! 1. UTCs used to be GP-delivered services. Then GP-led and MDT-delivered. Now NO mandate for ANY doctors to be involved in leadership of the service. 1/

@DrJoFranklin @medicalmodelbri Imagine actually shutting you up.
English

@iDrSunny do you even still have a license to practice because using the word “doctor” as your title with no licence to practice is that not mis-leading public
English

@ClearThinker66 @medicalmodelbri I thought you didn’t care about my posts 😂
English

@medicalmodelbri @butteredcrump 👌
And this one can hardly boast that there is great discourse going on between them and anybody else!
English

@medicalmodelbri @ClearThinker66 I was an assistant before they changed it to associate. My role didn’t change just my ID badge did. We aren’t genuinely couldn’t give a shit about title. Il still be doing the same job.
Funny we assume doctors but if anyone else assumed it then you need to be sacked right 🤷♀️
English

@ClearThinker66 @butteredcrump I love how they assume that we’re all doctors . So funny 😅.
Hopefully PA/AAs will adjust to their new assistant title . Good luck to them all .
English

@ClearThinker66 You say that but enough of you are replying 😂😂😂😂😂
English

@butteredcrump I’m sitting waiting for a hospital switchboard to answer, so time to burn - I’d like to point out that mostly, nobody has any interest in your posts whatsoever. You’re welcome.
English

@iDrSunny You need to do your research. It’s a GEM course. Same requirements as Warwick and many others. Unless now you are saying now GEM as well as no international doctors, no other professionals except nurses 🤷♀️
English

This makes me laugh
But interesting isn’t it they will make PAs doctors with 4 year degree on top of PA school when all along many PAs believe they are equivalent to or better than doctors already 🤣
@medicalmodelwithabriochebun@medicalmodelbri
They seem to have made an easy way out for PAs . No need to work for A grades anymore . kcl.ac.uk/study/undergra…

@parthaskar @wesstreeting No cos players have been in court for sexually abusing patients that have coughs……..
English

Streptococcal Pharyngitis is NOT the same as ManFlu
And a thank you to my super excellent GP for many things- not least pointing out I am 52.
An early morning ask to @wesstreeting
Please can we have such more knowledgable & qualified people around
Than cos players.
Thanks
English

@iDrSunny @Oxfordite @NeteroDestroys @physicianassoci @parthaskar @wesstreeting Bansal if you worked for the NHS you would have a valid opinion. But you don’t.
English

@butteredcrump @Oxfordite @NeteroDestroys @physicianassoci @parthaskar @wesstreeting Sure - doing health checks
English

@DrJoFranklin @medicalmodelbri 😂😂😂😂 LOL must be a white female nurse band 5 with no skills except arse wiping as that’s what the doctors of today want. 1950s healthcare system
English

@butteredcrump @medicalmodelbri Brioche is not a Dr but is a highly experienced healthcare professional in their own right.
English

@Oxfordite @NeteroDestroys @physicianassoci @parthaskar @wesstreeting However, I mostly agree that being a GP isn’t a job for the weak - it’s tough and mostly a thankless task. Find a role for PAs to reduce the burden on GPs (in the same was they wanted “pharmacy first” too and maybe we can all work together?
English

@butteredcrump @NeteroDestroys @physicianassoci @parthaskar @wesstreeting You mean that assistant PAs can help doctors with (mostly) administrative tasks?
Yes - some blood taking.. but most of all administrative chasing letters, referrals, and the like..
In GP there is no patient-facing role for PAs.
