Correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding is that in order to be a master (teach magic) you need to pass all the tests (hence why olruggio is not a master/has no independent atelier of his own but qifrey is) (1/?)

@silliestsiffrin when it was most dire and literally nothing would get me up i would put a tv show or podcast on in the background! and that can be very distracting, but if the alternative is not studying at all it might be an option🙏good luck soldier

how does one lock in for longer periods of time during an activity they hate/dgaf about (studying) and how does one study half a years worth of material in a few weeks

@silliestsiffrin a few weeks oops even better than 2** and for more memorization oriented topics (languages or life sciences), using anki has a bit of a learning curve but really helped me in the past

@silliestsiffrin yeah definitely talk to someone about that^ 2 weeks is ample time for cramming. something that can help in a pinch is going to the original course syllabus and handwriting a mind map of all the core topics, then reviewing slides as needed based on what you feel least sure about
