@camcasperson @jakemmccleary That is super interesting, can you do much customization with it? We’ve been trying to rebuild some of our website and have struggled doing some of what we believe to be minor customizations.

I see stuff all the time about AI building someone's website in seconds, how does one go about doing this? I'm creating a brand-new website for my business and am trying to find the most efficient way of doing this. Currently just building something on squarespace but I feel like there's a better option out there.

Hmm.. with a good wrap I could see it but I also understand your worry. In UT county my best guess would be split pretty 50/50 on reactions. What’s your read? I see a ton of teslas on the road though. I think you can pretty much do whatever you want. For me so far, the “Focus on the road” alert has been random and hard to predict. Also I still takeover a decent amount in stop-and-go residential, it’s painfully cautious/slow at times.

@camcasperson @ShaunMcKnight As a future customer, how would you feel if your plumber rolled up to your house in a Tesla to give you a quote? I’m genuinely worried it will give people the wrong impression of me. How much are you able to do while the car drives itself?

It is wild to me that today you can lease a fully electric Tesla for ≈$299 per month (less if used)… Which is LESS than just the cost to fill up my wife’s Infiniti QX80 with gas per month (and far cheaper to maintain)!

@ToddLlewellyn @ShaunMcKnight Hey Todd, future customer here. I did this exact deal, got it 2 weeks ago. Full self driving continues to impress. Highly recommend!

@ShaunMcKnight I am actually looking in to this. Thinking about leasing one with full self driving for around $400/month. I could do alot of work on my phone while driving (if it would let me). Seems like a no brainer

@CTW_SMB Client facing role? No reason to think they won’t do the same thing with client comms. Also lowest form of AI use haha, a direct copy paste

Our job app has a few written ?s Every answer from a great candidate today starts: "Here’s a strong, results-driven response you can use: or something" Happy they are using AI But copy paste w/o removing the header Disqualifying attention to detail IMO Agree? Too harsh?

Imagine every pixel on your screen, streamed live directly from a model. No HTML, no layout engine, no code. Just exactly what you want to see. @eddiejiao_obj, @drewocarr and I built a prototype to see how this could actually work, and set out to make it real. We're calling it Flipbook. (1/5)

A Home Depot with a different layout is infuriating. Why are they not all laid out the same?!

Every time I refresh my feed, whether it is For You or Following, it shows me the same set of posts. It has been like this for weeks. I want to hit the dislike button on the entire app.

Here’s the big dirty secret about selling sponsorships against video views here on X: Virtually no one watches long form content on X. I post 20-70 minute videos on X every week. They get 200k-1m views each. I count them as basically nothing. They’re as valuable as shorts views. Users don’t stick around. They have YouTube for that. Facebook is the same - horrendous average view duration on long form. Average view duration for the same video on YouTube is 10x - 30x longer. Was OpenAI’s valuation of TBPN based on revenue earned against sponsorships that almost no one is seeing? I have no idea. I do know that TBPN’s most valuable impressions - YouTube and audio downloads - are not impressive. Congrats to them for getting the bag! I’d have done the same. But their sponsors are stupid if they don’t ask for average view duration on the X video ads they’re paying 6 figures for. And OpenAI is stupid if they didn’t consider this.

TBPN has been acquired by OpenAI! The show is staying the same and we’ll continue to go live at 11am pacific every weekday. This is a full circle moment for me as I’ve worked with @sama for well over a decade. He funded my first company in 2013. Then helped us fix a serious logjam during a critical funding round a few years later. When I took my second company through YC, he was president at the time, and then when I joined Founders Fund, the first deal I saw in motion was the post-ChatGPT round in late 2022. And as we started growing TBPN last year, he was the very first lab lead to join the show. Thank you to everyone that has been a part of TBPN until now. The last year has been the most fun and rewarding part of my career and we’re excited to have more resources than ever going forward.

Every company has the same problem right now. 80% of the team has heard about AI. Maybe 10% have actually used it. And almost none of them have had the "aha" moment yet. You know the one. Where it clicks. Where they go from "yeah I should try that" to "holy shit... I'm never doing this the old way again." That moment doesn't come from a webinar. It comes from pasting a prompt into Claude and watching it do 2 hours of work in 45 seconds. We built a 30-module AI Academy to manufacture that aha moment for every person on our team. - Real scenarios they already deal with - Copy-paste prompts that work immediately - Claude, Perplexity, NotebookLM, AI in Excel - Manufacturing, sales, ops, marketing workflows No login. No paywall. No email gate. Just a static HTML file to help your team get AI traction We built it for our team. Once they got the aha... they never went back. Now it's yours.
