I’ve never quite understood how I’ll get “left behind” if I don’t use AI. I’m perfectly capable of writing, researching, and thinking all on my own. What does it do that will leave me behind?

This shit is so ableist it makes my blood boil. Our community has worked so hard to get people to understand dynamic disabilities, invisible disabilities and immobilising chronic illnesses and we’ve made a LOT of progress. Likening us to Reform voters is not a vibe. Get a life.

The worst thing about giving a shit about not wanting to see AI slop, is that you still have to be surrounded by people who either don't care at all, or are entirely oblivious to what ai stuff looks and sounds like

chatgpt (and surely other ai companies) exploit african workers (particularly kenyans) and use them to filter the things people send to ai programs. including every bad thing you can think of. so bad that some of the workers say they need therapy. all for $1.35 - $2 an hour.
