I started sharing my setup and trades on X initially. It really helped me in structuring my thoughts. Met some good people and got some great feedback. Last few months have been very busy professionaly and personally. Wish to start again shortly.

This might be the last time I say it...I’d genuinely encourage everyone reading this to start documenting your journey publicly somewhere for all to see. The good, the bad, & the ugly. Being on X over the last few years has completely changed my life in ways I never could’ve imagined. What originally started as a simple trading journal to document my lessons, mistakes, thoughts, and growth somehow evolved into a larger family over time. But at its core, it’s still just that: A journal. I think a lot of people never start posting because they don’t feel “qualified” enough yet. They think they are not experienced enough, not successful enough, or that nobody would care about what they have to say. A lot of people also assume everything has already been said before, so there is no point in sharing their perspective. I used to think the exact same way. But 1 thing I’ve realized is that you do not need permission, credentials, or some massive achievement to share your lived experiences. Your experiences themselves are what make your perspective valuable. There is someone out there right now struggling through the exact same things you have already faced... blowing up accounts, hesitating on entries, overtrading, inconsistency, fear, self-doubt, comparison, or simply feeling lost in the process. Your story and perspective could genuinely help that person feel "less alone." That’s the beautiful thing about documenting your journey publicly. You grow alongside other people. You attract like-minded individuals, connect with mentors/mentees/friends, clarify your own thinking, and hold yourself accountable in ways you never expected. Ironically, some of the posts that resonated the most with people for me were never the “perfect” posts. Usually, it was the transparent ones... the drawdowns, mistakes, emotional struggles, and lessons learned the hard way. Humans connect with honesty far more than perfection. Nobody has everything figured out, and the people pretending they do are usually the ones struggling the most behind the scenes. You do not need to wait until you “make it” to start sharing your story. You can start today. And years from now, you’ll probably look back grateful that you did. Godspeed, my friends! - iain 🩵

I started sharing all my trades publicly on X three months ago. So far I’ve posted nearly 30 newsletters with every trade, entry, exit, and reasoning. Every week and month I review them openly — wins, losses, and lessons. Putting everything in public has been one of the best things I’ve done. It forces real accountability and faster learning. No hiding from mistakes. The market will always be uncertain. Our job is to execute anyway. Great post. Keep sharing these insights

This is deep...but uncertainty is not a flaw within markets but an inherent structural characteristic of probabilistic environments. Sustainable performance comes not from eliminating uncertainty, but from consistently executing positive expectancy opportunities while maintaining disciplined downside control. And hesitation often reflects unresolved emotional discomfort with randomness itself rather than deficiencies within the actual setup. The edge is not certainty. The edge is executing despite uncertainty. So execute no matter what!

I would like to share some good news. I have passed the NISM-Series-V-A: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination conducted by NISM/SEBI. I dont plan to become a Mutual Fund Distributor (atleast in near future). As a MF investor for close to 2 decades, I wanted to understand how this massive 81 Trillion rupees/ $843 Billion Dollar Industry was built in India and is growing in India. The role MF industry has played in Financial planning for crores of Indians is a brilliant case study. Takeaway: Knowing something deep academically helps understand the product better. Preparation and Learning for this certification has been amazing. Getting orientation into the legalities, accounting, valuation and taxation aspects underlying mutual funds and their distribution was the key. Despite the market ups and downs, Mutual fund investment is the best thing for retail investors, that can help them beat the Inflation.

I took 3 positions without proper profit cushions and lost. Now, blame the market or myself? I blame myself. The market is never wrong — I was. Trading lessons never stop. The traders who last long are those who learn fast and avoid the same mistakes again. Lesson learned.

I am taking a very aggressive tight stop-loss in my trades. So far my watchlist for today has good momentum, and I have a risk-free trade in #Powerindia. , I am taking a lot of trades. However, I know that this market is not very bullish , but I keep my risk management on top. We'll be back on Monday. #Nifty #Marketfeedback #marketstrucuture
