My review of the Mando movie is that I like the part where the Babu Frik family fell in the water and they clearly just tossed the puppets lifelessly into the water. I love that kind of nonsense.

Matthews was never leaving. Those "leaks" were always posturing to nudge Toronto in the direction of change. Very common with stars in other sports.
The fact we're already getting the "he seems fine now" talk makes me think he primarily wanted a coaching/stylistic change.
