🚨THOUGHTS 💭
My grandfather bought a book that recorded the conversation that happened in the Aburi Accord VERBATIM. He kept it in a safe where he keeps valuables and I was able to convince my father to unlock the safe and after I saw the book in the safe, I decided to take a read.
From everything that happened in that meeting, putting it together with the real history of Nigeria.. these are my observations.
1. Gowon is a CIA asset assigned to keep the Nigerian state (oil company) running at ANY cost.
2. Ojukwu’s first proposal in the meeting was that “use of force” shall never be allowed in settling the ethnic tension in Nigeria then. A proposal which all the parties in the meeting adopted including gowon.
3. Everything was agreed at Aburi and everyone was exactly on same page after the meeting in Aburi Accra, Ghana.
4. When Gowon came to back Nigeria after the meeting, he blatantly denied most of the recorded agreements that was reached in the accord.
5. This is another CIA talk to keep diverting people’s mind away from the fact that Yakubu Gowon with his CIA name as “Jack” is in fact a major CIA agent.

@DavidHundeyin Harsh as always but there a strong truth buried in it. A working society helps millions; billionaire admiration helps almost nobody.

I'll also say this as someone who grew up on the nice side of the barbed wire fences and high gates in the very nice part of town where the Nigerian 0.1% live - learn to touch grass and worry about yourself because rich people really do not care about you. Like, at all.
The Nigerian rich don't even like each other. They barely tolerate one another and make practical alliances to preserve wealth and influence. And now that the economy is too small to support all the children of the Nigerian 0.1%, nearly everyone I grew up with in the nice, leafy part of town now lives in Toronto or London or wherever. You, Mr N250k/month Union Bank contract staff are not part of rich people's thinking at all.
At. All.
The rich have no plans for you. They have no plans to create opportunities for you. They have no plans to fix the things they broke on their way to building that N1bn townhouse in Parkview Estate. They have no plans to contribute towards making society better. If Satan came from Hell with a tail and horns growing out of his head and he ran for political office, the rich would all go make deals with him - because in the world of the rich, the only thing that matters is their own interests, and making sure that they never, EVER have to live like you or next to you.
So all this simping and vicarious fawning over wealth and fame that you people do everyday is the most redundant thing in the world - the rich have no intention of expanding their circle to let you in, and they have no intention of enabling the conditions for you to create your own independent circle of wealth. The only thing the rich need from you is to be poor and obedient, so that your labour can be cheap, plentiful and replaceable.
Statistically as a Nigerian, you will NEVER be rich or close to it. You will NEVER live in Maitama. 99.99% of Nigerians who have existed since 1960 have prayed and fantasised about becoming rich, and 99.99% of those prayers and fantasies never came true. That's just math. You will never be a rich and famous celebrity. You will never be a successful content creator. You will never make millions shilling crypto, trading Forex, sports betting, or whatever the fuck is the latest quick wealth fantasy in town. It's just not going to happen.
That being the case, a much more constructive use of your time would be to fight for the material elevation of what you actually have, where you actually have it. Instead of daydreaming about the N300m house in Lekki that 3 generations of your family cannot buy, get involved in a local effort to give your own immediate neighbourhood a facelift, or a political campaign to pressure the state to build high quality social housing.
If you hate being harassed without consequence online, instead of vicariously enjoying how a celebrity has used their wealth and influence to jail someone for making a horrid tweet, fight for a judiciary and legal system that is transparent and accessible to all, so that a singer living in the UK on a global talent visa doesn't get to have more access to your Nigerian justice system than you who lives in Nigeria 24/7.
Instead of building your mental architecture around the false idea of being a "temporarily embarrassed millionaire" who will someday take your rightful place on Banana Island, touch grass tonight and accept that it will never happen, and what you need to do instead is fight for where you are to become a better, more liveable place that you no longer wish to escape from. Stop cosplaying as rich folk. Stop cooing and fawning over rich folk. Stop daydreaming about someday "blowing up" and buying a house next to Burna Boy. Rich people have no intention of sharing their world with you. Free yourself from the tyranny of living vicariously through people who don't care that you exist.
Them no really send any part of your papa at all.

A Leader Like Tambuwal.
Today, I celebrate my friend and brother, H.E. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
Tambuwal had a free pass to contest for the Senate for another term and a great opportunity to position for the Senate leadership. But he chose not to contest for re-election. With this decision, he has made way for one of his followers to take his seat in the upper legislative chamber.
In this same country where a serving governor is also running for the Senate, Tambuwal shows a great example, recognising that part of his duty as a leader is also to make way for those who have followed him and give them the opportunity to become leaders in their own right.
Given his own relatively young age, this must be recognised as a huge sacrifice.
Kudos to you, my brother.

1. Atiku Abubakar can point to his achievements as Vice President and his success as a private citizen.
2. Seyi Makinde can highlight his tangible accomplishments as governor.
3. Rotimi Amaechi can showcase his track record as both a governor and a federal minister.
4. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan can demonstrate his achievements as both a governor and a president.
5. Only Peter Obi cannot point to a single tangible project from his tenure as governor of Anambra State, yet he expects us to believe he is more competent than the other candidates and deserve our votes.
Never again!
English

@Abdulmalik42821 Kwankwaso was not a minister in 1999 sir 😂😂🤌

"I have a straightforward question for Atiku Abubakar's supporters, and I mean it sincerely:Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has spent over 50 years in the Customs Service, politics (including 8 years as Vice President of Nigeria), and as a successful businessman. If anyone can provide convincing, verifiable evidence of meaningful, lasting contributions he has brought to:Ganye (his local government area),
Adamawa State (his home state), and
Northern Nigeria (his broader region),
I promise to not only listen but to fully campaign and rally behind him. I will proudly become an "Atikulate" from today.I'm not looking for promises, slogans, or titles. I'm asking for tangible impacts infrastructure projects, institutions built, jobs created at scale, educational or health advancements, economic empowerment, or community transformations directly linked to his efforts during his long career in public service and business.Anyone ready with facts? I'm genuinely open and waiting."

It’s time for Obi to step down for GEJ, a man many Nigerians see as tested and trusted southern candidate.
GEJ remains one of the few presidents whose administration is still remembered by many as one of the most prosperous periods in Nigeria’s recent history. Now he wants to return, test his popularity again, and see how Nigerians will receive him politically.
Ironically, a man that did not leave behind remarkable achievements after spending 8 years as Governor of Anambra State is the one asking GEJ to step aside for him.
If Peter Obi has truly promised to do just one term, then what exactly stops him from stepping down for GEJ, who constitutionally has only four years left to complete?
Peter please step down for GEJ @PeterObi

@kayode_william @adeyanjudeji Well, you are clearly right! For any keen observer
English

@adeyanjudeji Barr. Deji, I don't think APC calculation on how to win includes d core North. I think their target is d South West, d South South, & d Middle-Belt/North Central. And then get 25% in a couple of other states in d South East, & d North East & North West. I may be wrong, though.
English

I just returned from Sokoto and what I saw, it’s only by rigging APC can win in presidential there. The sokoto governor will win second term but you see presidential election, it’s only by rigging they can win.
Yusuf Idris@yusufpolity
@adeyanjudeji It will be difficult to come out and campaign for the APC in the north. The masses are just patiently waiting for the time . Most of the APC billboards in the north are being destroyed. Hmmm people will resist APC Rigging
English

Dear South East, your son Obi has negotiated a single 4-year term deal with Nigeria, while others are negotiating for a minimum of 8 years, if possible.
Please, is 4 years enough for a geopolitical zone that has never truly occupied the nation’s power house in the history of Nigeria?

English

@chikarism1st @DavidsOffor So una mean say if Obi no win this 2027, Una go support kwankwaso come 2031?
English

@Ucijomanta The funny part is that the same people calling Obi “irrelevant” still spend 90% of their analysis discussing him. That alone tells you who truly shifts the conversation.
English

@HAHayatu Funny how every “analysis” somehow ends with “Obi should step down” 😂
English

I will say this again the only reason Peter got momentum 2023 was because he was portrayed as the Christian candidate.
The dynamics have changed for 2027, it will no longer be about religion, most churches may not even give their podium to him for fear of backlash from incumbent, northern Christians have moved on, Zumuntan Mata have been captured by Remi.
God help Peter to get 50% of his 2023 votes.
English

@obi_Nwosu Funny how every “analysis” somehow ends with “Obi should step down” 😂
