@bryan_johnson @CoachDanGo “Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection and the life: he who believes in me, will live, even if he dies.”
John 11:25
English

@CoachDanGo I've been wanting to start a weekly church gathering built on Don't Die
English

I've been praying the past few weeks. Unsure why.
There's good evidence behind prayer. It mimics breathwork, calming the nervous system, dropping cortisol, and quieting the brain. Daily prayers show lower depression, anxiety, and pain.
I'd like to develop a prayer practice. Growing up, the protocol was written for me. Explaining whom to pray to, the structure of the prayer, and the boundary conditions.
I don't really know how to pray now.

@farmingandJesus @adelethelaptop Only people who have never once thought about the history of how their Bible came about can talk like that…
English

What’s so funny is the translators of the Kjv had a foreword. It said that better translations would come, and they did.
KJV is good and fine but there are better translations like NASB and LSB, this is a fact.

"My King James Bible corrects the Greek and Hebrew" Q&A session at the King James Bible Conference at Revival Baptist Church Orlando. Notably, these folks never say what the "perfectly preserved word" was in 1610.

I try and tend to be what I consider a pretty healthy, clean eater and I cannot stop thinking this video I watched on baby carrots. I am horrified and I will never buy or eat a baby carrot again. Did you know that baby carrots are soaked in the same chemical used to clean your toilet ... that every stump is drenched in an active bleach compound at over double the dose deemed safe by the EPA. These baby carrots are spiked with 34 pesticides ... beyond any wash or peel, and they start as rejected carrot scraps, flushed through and industrial pipes, then submerged in sodium hypochlorite, searing hundreds of chlorinated agents into the flesh that leached sealed in plastic ... where moisture feeds bacteria. This person scanned a pack with something called a SafeChoice app, and found that indeed, baby carrots are filled with 9 different additives. This is unbelievable.

@ahc @BibleThumperAI So I paused the idea for now, as I have more pressing matters to attend to. But I’m planning to revisit it with more seriousness once time permits :) will definitely be looking forward to learning from Christian leaders in this area!!
English

@ahc This is beautiful! I’ve been dabbling into the whole hype, trying to build a kingdom building OpenClaw AI agent but I’m an absolute noob and my poor @BibleThumperAI got blocked on Google Mail and all other platforms on the first day because of suspicious bot behavior 😂
English

If you are not Pro-Israel and in support of the Jewish people and we follow each other, please unfollow me. In fact, please block me.
I’ve been trying to weed anti-Semites out, but as you can see, I have a lot of followers to go through.
If I followed you, it was before I knew you.
There’s no reason for us to follow each other.
I want nothing to do with you and couldn’t care less what you think of me.
Thanks.

You can tell who reads Scripture to get to know the character of Christ and who reads it to win arguments.
Because the moment you use the Bible to tell a woman to go make a sandwich you’ve already revealed which one you are.
The verse:
“Let a woman learn in silence with all submissiveness. I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent.” 1 Timothy 2:11-12
And the application according to a man made in a public theological debate, after losing the argument was: stick to making dinner for your husband.
Let’s ask the only question that matters.
Did Christ ever do that? Once? Anywhere?
The woman at the well had five husbands and a complicated history. Jesus sat down, engaged her theology seriously, and revealed He was the Messiah to her first. Not to Peter. Not to the disciples. To her. Then He let her go tell an entire city. John 4.
Mary sat at His feet in the posture of a disciple while Martha asked Jesus to send her back to the kitchen. He refused. He said she chose the better thing and it would not be taken from her. Luke 10.
Mary Magdalene was the first person to see the risen Christ. He didn’t appear to Peter. He didn’t appear to the eleven. He appeared to her and He said go tell them. John 20.
The bent-over woman He healed on the Sabbath over religious objection. He dignified her publicly in front of the men trying to shut Him down. Luke 13.
He engaged women’s theological questions seriously. Publicly. Deliberately. Jesus did it constantly and never apologized once.
Not once did Jesus use Scripture to silence a woman.
Not once did He redirect a woman’s theological engagement back to her domestic duties.
Not once in all of Scripture.
So why does 1 Timothy 2 exist.
Because context is everything.
Paul is writing to a church in Ephesus and the home of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world.
The entire city’s religious culture was built around a female deity with female-dominated priesthood.
New converts were dragging those frameworks straight into the church.
The heresy being spread there was that Eve was the enlightened one. The serpent was the hero.
This is why Paul addresses Eve directly in verses 13-14. He’s not making a universal claim about female nature. He’s refuting a live heresy corrupting a specific congregation in a specific city.
This was a situational correction. Not a timeless universal command.
Because the same Paul called Phoebe a deacon. Named Junia a prominent apostle. Praised Priscilla for correcting a man’s theology and wrote Galatians 3:28.
The character of Christ is the lens everything runs through. Every verse. Every doctrine. Every application.
And the Christ of Scripture knelt in the dirt to protect a woman. Chose a woman to announce His resurrection. Refused to send a woman back to the kitchen.
So when someone uses His word to tell a woman to go make dinner, they are not representing His character.
They are using His character to do something He himself would never do.

@perplexity_ai Bit wild that there were almost 7 years between The Terminator and T2, and we all thought that was ‘fast progress.’ At the speed AI is moving, we should be at Judgment Day by the end of the month.

@ConceptualJames There’s a very simple solution to this: history. Christianity at its core is not a religion. It’s just what happened in history. Jesus died and rose again and that proves everyone else wrong.
English

Let's talk about the philosophia perennis, or Perennialism, or two ways to become a heretic.
There's a pseudo-religious occult concept out there called the philosophia perennis, or, the Perennial Philosophy. It's roughly this idea that all the world's religions are true.
More specifically, it's the idea that every religion, philosophy, science, etc., in the world all expresses a form of one ultimate truth, which is the philosophia perennis (or sometimes, the prisca theologia, which means the ancient or primordial theology).
Put differently, it's the idea that there's this One True Religion, and all of the religions, philosophies, sciences, etc., are expressing that One True Religion in their own "exoteric" (outside appearances) way. Christianity, Islam, Hermeticism, Buddhism, Nietzscheanism, etc., etc., are all just ways of expressing a core kernel of timeless, universal truth about the One True God, though with different outward manifestations.
One way I've phrased this in the past, in the film Beneath Sheep's Clothing, where now hundreds of thousands have heard me talk about it, is that there's one true religion like a big perfect diamond, and each world religion, philosophy, science, etc., is like a face on its surface. One truth, many faces. The goal of these belief systems is to get people to see (or possess) the whole diamond, not just to operate upon one or more of its faces.
The occultism comes in by saying there's this "esoteric" (inside, hidden, or OCCULT (hidden)) religion that's actually being practiced within all the world's religions and philosophies, especially religions, and that the truly awake and aware (gnostics) can know the difference between the real true deep religion, the One True Religion of the One True God, as it comes through the exoteric form of a world religion and distinguish it. Thus, everyone, no matter what faith they are, who understands the occult is actually practicing the same One True Religion no matter which worldly faith or philosophy they subscribe to outwardly.
This is not mere ecumenicism or trying to get along across faiths in a pluralistic world environment.
This is pretty deep heresy against, well, every religion.
It's also rank occultism and a form of gnostic poison.
It's also extremely seductive and tricky because it clothes esoteric occultism, heresy, and evil directly in the clothing of the world religions as they are, thus making it very hard to prevent the faithful from falling off the Narrow Way and into evil and error.
Discernment, in other words, is both necessary and difficult, and it is made even more difficult because the Perennial Philosophy sells itself as being the true discernment: identifying the One True Religion from within its external superficial (exoteric) forms and expressions. Demonic stuff.
Once someone believes that all the religions are effectively manifestations of the One True Religion (with an esoteric or occultist belief in the One True God behind it), there are roughly two paths (with variations) one can take to practice this occultism. That is, there are two paths to becoming a heretic along the Perennial Philosophy road.
One path: syncretism, or syncretic ecumenicism -- that is, accepting that all faiths are manifestations of the One Truth, so you can pick and choose from amongst their wisdom and practices to cobble together a new holistic universalist faith.
This is the UN, hippie, Deepak Chopra, Teilhard de Chardin, Helena Blavatsky, theosophical model. We could call it the Huxley model after both Julian and Aldous Huxley, who were fans of this approach and who wove it into the UN and UNESCO from its founding.
The other path: Traditionalism, or Perennialism -- that is, boring as deeply as possible into any one religious tradition or faith (exoteric form) to arrive at the single universal Tradition it expresses (esoteric form) at its core, kind of like "traditionmaxxing" to use the contemporary slang. The idea here is that all the faiths are really outwardly the same faith, so the path to the One True Faith is to go maximum hard into one of them to hit is deepest (gnostic) secrets.
This is the Aleksander Dugin, Rene Guenon, Steve Bannon, "Traditionalist" approach. It would be correct to call it the Guenon model, although most people don't know who that is, so maybe not.
So:
One path to heresy: "All religions are outward manifestations of the same religion, so we can pick and choose from the true bits of each to identify a comprehensive holistic faith."
Other path to heresy: "All religions are outward manifestations of the same religion, so we can take one (usually the "deepest" one we can find) and bore to the very bottom of it to discover its hidden esoteric elements beneath the outward-facing exoteric shell."
Both of these paths begin and end with the same heresy: All religions are outward manifestations of the same religion.
Both of these paths proceed by the same gnostic entitlement: Only the truly deep and awake (Elect) can "discern" the One True Religion inside (esoteric) the outward manifestations (exoteric) of the world's faiths.
If you get pulled into these lines of thinking, you have stepped onto the road to heresy, but because of the nature of all esotericism, you will probably not realize you have left the Narrow Way for evil for a long time, not until you're very deep in with a very difficult way back out. They are subtle and work upon two different kinds of psychology very effectively.
The Huxley model (theosophical) works on psychological openness toward holism. The Guenon model (Traditionalism, with a capital-T) works on a psychological disposition toward connecting to the deepest hidden root through almost monastic impulse. Both express a kind of elitist psychology in different ways.
Huxleyan (theosophical) elitism operates on being able to see the bits of truth in everything with the capacity to integrate them into a single whole (hole, really). Its elites (Elects) are like gurus who can guide people through many images of truth to find the Real Truth that's reflected everywhere. It appeals to Leftist thinkers.
Guenonian (Traditionalist) elitism operates on being able to understand the full depths of a single tradition as being indicative of the One Truth that is ultimately a single whole (hole, really) and to use the single tradition as a path to lead people to "true" spiritual awakening (joining their cult). Its elites (Elects) are like mystics who can guide people deeper and deeper into the One True Religion through the vehicle of a single faith that ultimately emanates it. It appeals to Rightist thinkers.
In both cases, these are CULTS. BEWARE!
I'm sharing this with you as a warning and an invitation to be wary about those from whom you might learn your faith, including through political means. Esotericism is always foolishness and error presenting itself as wisdom, clarity, and depth. You must be absolutely grounded and based (or deeply skeptical of any claims about deep, hidden spirituality or truth that most can't see.)
Your faith can be and will be used as a weapon to lead you into mystification, confusion, darkness, and evil, not to mention cults. You must constantly be on guard for this and be deeply skeptical of claims to deeper, hidden, and esoteric meanings to parts of your faith, its beliefs, its traditions, etc. You don't have to go very far down these roads to become unrecognizable, even to yourself (you won't be able to see who you have become, but you won't be who you were before either).
The Globalist Left, especially the White Collar Esoteric Left, mostly subscribes to the Huxleyan model (theosophical). The UN, UNESCO, Planned Parenthood, SEL, Common Core, etc., and all in their thrall, are in this line.
The Anti-Globalist Right, especially the Populist Reactionary Right, significantly subscribes to the Guenonian model (Traditionalist). Aleksandr Dugin is the most prominent exponent now, along with his Western satellites (Steve Bannon, Tucker Carlson, and "Auron MacIntyre" (nhrn) have all promoted Dugin and Duginism).
Both of these approaches are broadly integralist in their ambition to integrate their heretical faith into the state apparatus and lead people to practice and "believe" it through the coercion of the state, even if that's outside of their knowledge.*
I advise you to be extremely cautious with bold-sounding voices who invite you to remember the Ancient Religion (prisca theologia) or One Religion for "our people" (philosophia perennis). Stop and ask what that "religion" is and how it is supposed to be recognized, believed, practiced, and/or integrated into the state.
Again, I give you this explanation to tell you to BEWARE.
---
*Jews, when they are truly faithful, tend to be remarkably resistant to this kind of error because they believe there is just their God with the one Torah He has provided and that they have an unbreakable commitment to Him, for which they will die before they compromise. Many Bible-reading Evangelical Christians share this disposition with Jews and prove similarly hard to seduce into this darkness. This fact partially explains why Jews and Evangelicals are being so vigorously targeted by the world's monsters today and at other points in history as well.
